The second Mexico one was a last minute thing due to Colombia(?) not being ready to hold it.

If our FA/Government aren't putting the bids together then we can hardly be considered.

Not too sure about giving three countries automatic entry as host nation will leave the 'North, Central American & Caribbean' qualifying stage a bit bare and easy for the remaining countries to get through

A 48 team 16 groups of 3 teams tournament where drawn group matches could be decided by a penalty shootout. It's going to be a steaming pile of crap.
