Good news. Let's keep the conveyor belt of outward going crap motoring on. Just Chiriches, Kaboul, Adebayor, Stambouli, Soldado & Lennon, who are the main culprits, to be hastily escorted out the door & we can start seeing some light at the end of the tunnel.

Like to see Dembele shown the door based on his last few seasons performances, however if he can surprise the management then that would be a good thing. I can see it being a bit of toss-up between, which one of Carroll or Townsend being sold. Townsend has been very inconsistent & that's been reflected in the number of starts & appearances. Carroll is a good ball-player, however its a similar situation to Dembele as to whether he can affect games in a meaningful way.

Lets keep the restructuring going.

Sad to see him go , but he never really cut the mustard with us. Had quite a few first team chances but didn't impress too much. We got a decent fee for him, It seems that Poch is trying get rid of a few players who are surplus to requirements which is good and helps raise a bit of money for signings.

I thought he was pretty solid. If we had a firing forward 4 then having him suring up with someone a bit more dynamic next to him might have worked. But we don't. And he lacks the imagination or drive to be anything more than a pure holding midfielder.

Good luck to Watford, I hope his attitude has changed, if all the speculation at Spurs is true.

Another one of the mediorce seven bites the dust.

I felt he had a good preseason but we never know what goes on in the background and the politics of the dressing room.

Looked a different player in France, loved bombarding forward, going past players with ease, a ferocious tackler, kept the ball ticking when need.

Come here and looked like a player who's made it and didn't have to put the effort in. I remember him getting injured in the first season, after that he offered nothing.

Like others have said, it's good that the club are getting rid of the deadwood.

With Capoue and Paulinho gone, that leaves an opportunity for the youngspurs to make the grade. I'm looking forward to seeing the likes of Ali, Onomah and Winks trying to step up.

What happened to levy? Someone clubbed him over the head or has he finally realised that not getting top dollar is in the greater good of the club??

I think this sums up the bloke's attitude. Watford are probably paying him a few quid, he doesn't have to move house so who cares if they're going to be in a relegation fight!!!

All aboard the premier league gravy train...

Pretty sure (or more hopeful) that we already have signings agreed and that's why all the dead wood is going.

Watford are making some very clever signings, with Vydra rejoining, Capoue and potentially Stambouli and Perotti signing, if the players mesh even at this very early stage of the window, I'd be very surprised if they end up in the relegation fight at the end of the season.

Really rated Capoue. I thought, out of all the signings, he would be the best.

Watford have done really well here.
