Bill, did you shout 'mine' on purpose or did it just come out that way?

Shouting 'mine' was always a wrongun in my opinion. It's cheating and if I wanted too agree with cheaters I would have supported Arsenal.

If the other team didn't complain then I guess it's ok. More their keepers fault than yours from the sounds of it. I was always told to yell my name to avoid confusion, but I didn't realise it was actually a rule. Seems silly to me.

No KY, in fact, I can't recall ever shouting 'mine' before. Always 'Matt's', 'Matt's ball' or 'Matty's ball' if I'm feeling a bit fruity.

I haven't played much in the past 18 months and until 9 months before that I hadn't played since school. Still, I've scored 3 goals in this time, which is 1 more than I managed playing every weekend from age 4 to 16. Mind you, I am now 6 inches taller than just about anyone else on the pitch.
