He has a 1st class degree in economics...pretty sure he knows more about finances than the majority of us.

I’m sure he does, I doubt he is as obsessed with making a profit as people suggest for exactly that reason. It is amazing how many rational people fall for biases like these though

True, but you wouldn't need one to know that we ain't getting 17M for Victor. Which leads me to believe the story is horseshit.

Such a shame that injuries seem to have taken its toll on a player that was superb for us once he settled in. Our midfield was solid and the defence protected. Just doesnt seem to have been able to regain that fitness and was well off the pace in most of the games he played in last year.

Hopefully a meet in the middle deal can be reached and he can go and get games for Brugge, I'm sure he would do well for them

Another report today say brugge are offering €10m with €2m add ons. We want €12-15m.

In seasons past we have almost always carried players either not quite up to it or they are more often than not injured.
Levy has managed to move on most of the deadwood and by doing is is opening the gateway for players like Skipp /Parrot /Tanganga /Eyoma in the past players such as Wanyama /Jansen /Nkoudo / Onomah / Lorente / then trippier who wanted to go Aurier also wants to leave so has been said also if has been suggested Edwards to Udinese if all these moves come off we will be a very fit trim squad .
There may be others but if they don't want to be here or are not up to scratch we as a club will be better off with them off of the books .
Also it allows us to give chances to our very promising younger players without the blockage of deadwood.

Agree with this. We don't' really have a player like him in the team as it is now. Dier is in kinda in the same mould but not at the same level as a fit wanyama. Very unfortunate that the injuries ruined it for him.

He was fantastic when he first came to us, a beast in midfield. Real shame his injuries ruined such promise.

Hasn't he applied for UK residency?
Seems a bit weird to go to all that trouble then leave the country.
