After the wonders Poch did with Sissoko i always felt it was a bit bizarre the way Janssen was ostracised. Hopefully he comes good.
From the way things are being described, it sounds as if, rather than being "ostracised", Janssen has been angling to leave for some time and that the only reason he is still on the books is because the club has not been able to come up with a deal to a club that he wants to join, for a fee that they will accept.

"We tried to find a solution, because the player wanted to leave the club, and the club wanted to provide him another place to play football - but that was impossible."

That's not in any way ambiguous.

After an exciting year and a half before he joined us, his career has stalled entirely. He must have been dying to depart for some time.

I never really understood why Janssen never got a second season to prove himself. I was always happy that he was getting into the right spaces and his link up was good.

But that's a debate for another thread.....

I love Vinny.

Be great to see him get another chance.

If we're willing to play to llorente, we can play to this guy and look to feed him properly.

I believe in this world nothing is coincidental or accidental. Hope he can make an impact. An early goal from him could be the start of something. I never thought he was horrifically bad.

Poch is known to wipe the slate clean with players if they are willing to get their heads down and work hard for the team. He did it with Rose and Toby. Whether Vincent will actually even get on the bench is questionable. Certainly when Kane is back. The guy is a Dutch international. He's capable of putting in a performance.

Imo it’s the most humane thing to do- the move away didn’t happen, he’s been training hard and at no point has Jansen come out and slagged the club off in the press. everyone will be on a win win from now until the end of the season

I thought you were going to say put him down, thankfully your fairly rational fir Vincent’s sake.
