Sissoko is actually now massively overrated by a lot of fans.

Foyth, for all his talent, could easily end up going the way of Chiriches.

Unless Alli is put back up top close to Kane he'll never truly prosper in another position.

I have a really bad feeling we've already seen the best of Kane.

Skipp is gonna be fucking boss.

Agree with this. The recent trend of injuries is worrying, and he's the type of player who really struggles when he's not 100%. At this point I retain some hope that this trend can be reversed if adequate depth is brought in further forward.

On the positive side, he's already massively developed his game in other areas so would always be a hugely useful player, even if he never hits the (extremely high) heights of previous seasons. Also means he's less likely to fuck off to Madrid.

I echo the concerns about Harry Kane. He seems to have lost the strength/confidence in his ankles to really jump. hopefully I am wrong and we will see him leaping to win balls in the air against defenders again and not backing in, fouling defenders and trying to win free-kicks instead.

But that's all that will happen. Rehashing the discussions within other threads. Therefore, unless there is a specific purpose... Such as posting an opinion without reprisal... then it's entirely superfluous.
Exactly, the entire point of the internet is to tell people why they're wrong and you're right.
This is why the concept of amnesty threads are fundamentally flawed.

We will miss Trippier WAY more than we ever thought- and he will be fucking filthy to whichever team in Italy he lands in.

I actually think he's kind of good somehow- even though he obviously fucking sucks.

It's weird- I just can't explain it- but somehow I still think he's dangerous and I actually kind of like him- despite my hatred of him. Btw guys, side note: we're not talking real, true hatred; rather, just Tottenham player annoyance-hatred. Indeed, the only players of ours that I actually literally hate are those that leave us (like Berbatov, Modric, Bale, etc.), in which case I actually do well and truly despise them. But for guys like Tripps and Rose my hatred is only momentary and not heartfelt at all. I mean I hate my wife sometimes, but I've been with her for twenty years so obviously I still love her. I mean, right? Anyway...

So yeah, believe it or not I'm actually not trying to be funny. Whenever I see Trippier's Alfred E. Neuman face on the telly I have the overwhelming urge to both punch it and give him a kiss on the cheek along with a warm, heartfelt hug...

It's weird...

Anyway, I truly do think we'll miss him far more than any of us would've imagined, unfortunately.

1. Pochetino is not as good of a tactician and in game manager as AVB, but he's certainly a better man manager and player's developer.

2. Our new stadium is not really all that (though I have only seen it in photographs and televised games, so there's a small chance I'm wrong).

3. If we sell Erik Lamela this summer, I'm not sure if I will ever be capable of loving again.

4. This summer we ruined the best chance we will ever have of winning the champions league. Liverpool were there for the taking, and we simply rolled over for them while showing no fight, we don't deserve to ever be champions of anything after letting that lot getting silverware at our expenses.

5. Godzilla: King of the Monsters was a better film than Avengers: Endgame.

I would dearly love to see Kane lose his undropable tag... Would also love to see him taken off at about the 65-70 minute mark in games.

Agree. Want to see the primal Kane with energy and movement. Actually want to see him rotated just so we can get the the best out of him and all of our other attacking options.

I think this is a make or break season for Poch. If we don’t win something this season then he’ll be gone one way or another. I also don’t feel the optimism that others are, even if we do sign Lo celso and Cebellos I don’t personally think they are better than what we had.

I'm not sure about that. I think if he was to leave it would be because he wasn't being backed/felt he had achieved everything he can with the club. If for example, we only sign Ndombele and that's it, then I think he might leave at the end of the season. But if Levy brings in Ndombele, Lo Celso, Cebellos etc. then he can't really say he hasn't been backed tbh and he can't say he's achieved everything at the club either unless we win stuff.

Obviously depends a lot on other clubs as well though. For exmple, if Man Utd sack OGS mid-season (very likely) then do a "Giggseh till end o't'season" type thing and then throw the kitchen sink at Poch in the summer I can see him being tempted. Real Madrid seems to be the one he really wants though for some reason and unless Zidane absolutely fucks everything up, I can't see the job being available next summer.

I can see how the exterior might be divisive but the interior is truly a thing of beauty - I genuinely can't imagine it being any better.

I've only seen it from the outside in person but I don't think I've seen a single journalist, fan, presenter etc. who's been who hasn't commented on how brilliant it is so I'm inclined to think that it really does live up to the hype inside.

I think the talk of the demise of the red shite up the road is very very premature. They've got Rob Holding & Belerin coming back this season. The Greek defender is very very solid & they've got 2 players up front who play very well together. Their Mangers just had his teeth done like Klopp so I'm worried about him/ them this season.

I really scratch my head when our own fans don't see what I see in Winks & Dier, very strange

Fair play that some different opinions to normal

1 perhaps although AVB to me was still a disaster of a manager.

2 you will defiantly be in the minority on this one, having been I’d struggle to think of a better stadium anywhere in the world.

3 hahaha good old Erik.

4 we deserve what we get, if we make it this year and fight for it then great. I get what you mean about the final, my general view is that certain attacking players like Eriksen are not cut out for big pressure games and others like Dele are good but have flaws . If we get Lo Celso and Ceballos Id not be that upset Eriksen leaving.

5 no opinion, haven’t watched either.

Can it really be premature given that it's already happened? They've gone from challenging for the title every few years and qualifying for the CL without fail every season for something like 15 years in a row, to now being nowhere near challenging for the title and failing to qualify for the CL 3 seasons on the trot.

The demise has already well and truly happened. Whether or not it will stay that way for as long as we're hoping it remains to be seen, but even in that regard I think their squad and dressing room mentality seems to be miles away from getting them back to where they once were.

Can I just say, and I may be a tad drunk at this stage, that I don't care who plays for us, or who is manager, I'm still going to go to see spurs every week because I fucking love this club.

So There.
