Thought he'd be off to Man U.
Along with every other player you'd care to mention if you believe any form of media at the moment.
Getting on my tits already.
You can't listen to any transfer news without every remotely decent player being linked to those fkers

If we want to steal a march over everybody else by secretly bidding 12 million, how would they know about it?

Anyone tuned in to the Europa League Final? 2-2 at half time and a cracking game.

2 players we have been strongly linked with are having good games so far. Carlos Bacca with a great finish to put Seville in front. And Konoplyanka looking very dangerous for Dnipro on the left wing. Really hope Danny Boy has had him signed up last week on a freebie as was being reported - I'd imagine his agent's phone will be pretty busy over the next 24 hours.

Would be delighted to get Ings in as well although can't see him either partnering or replacing Harry up front.

He said quite some time ago, possibly in the last TW he was a Liverpool supporter.

If Liverpool wont go above 4 million, why would we need to bid three times as much to see them off? Surely 6 or 8 million would be enough.

Interesting move, this. Especially if, as widely reported, Ings wants to go to Liverlol.

So, Danny Boy bids £12m, Burnley accept the offer and we get to talk to Ings - selling the club to him etc.
If Ings likes what Danny Boy has to say, we drop the bid and pick him up next month on a compensation deal.
If Ings doesn't want to come to us and still wants to go to Lolpool, our bid will have bumped up the compensation the scousers will have to pay for him.

Yeah, if we do get him, the compensation package will be for more than it would have been but at least we get a chance to turn his head.

Levy won't buy him.
He's just bid money to get the chance to put an offer to Ings now for when his contact expires.

Can anyone actually comprehend Daniel tight arse Levy paying £12,000,000 for a player out of contact?
