I think it would have to be a massive offer for him to stay, as I believe he'll be off this summer looking for CL. From his professional point he deserves CL as he's one of the best in the world- I hope he stays but if Spurs get a good offer we all know what (sadly) will happen.

He's been one of a few Spurs players who have given their all recently...says something about his professionalism. Not like some of the others, especially Paulhino.

If we can get a decent manager in quickly
then Hugo and one or two others might be tempted to stay.
But his face after the cracks in the wall
might tell the real story.

I am confident he'll stay. Goalies have long careers & don't move often

I think he'll stay. We've really made him look good this season!

To be fair, making someone look good isn't that difficult for us at the moment.

I also think he will stay. Don't ask me why - it is not based on logic.

Signing a bumper contract is one thing and would be great. If he is genuinely happy and settled, that would be the icing on the cake with an extra cherry on the top.

It's comforting to know that for once, our truly outstanding, world class player is happy to pull on the jersey.

Hopefully Hugo's contentment can rub off on the others.

I hope the 'bumper' deal includes the captaincy.

I don't like cherries..

Any truth in the rumour that Hugo is insisting on a defence clause being inserted? Namely that he'd like one!

I will give AVB full credit here.
Lloris found the transition to our league very hard for some reason and was making poor mistakes.
Giving him time to adapt in the europa was brave and the right decision - we have reaped the rewards long term.
However, if Monaco make him a good offer, he'll be off regardless of any new contract imo.

Kapopeycock. Whatever we offer, PSG can double and offer CL.
The only thing that would keep him here is Lloris himself and, taking your Spurs glasses off for a second and putting yourself in his shoes, if a decent offer came in why would you stay???
Always poss Levy could play hard ball and say your under contract, your not going anywhere but if PSG or some other money bags club came in with ridiculous offer would he turn them down?
Like all transfers we wont really know whats going on until after the event.
I f-in hate transfer windows.

We cannot compete with the likes of PSG, but getting FDB in quickly and offering him a bumper deal just might convince him to stay.

A bumper package/new deal is probably so Levy can sell him for more. Anyway, would he really want to go and play in the French league after playing in the PL? I'd understand going to Barcelona or Real Madrid, but Monaco or PSG? Maybe at the end of your career but not in your prime.

Good news (if true) please stayyy Huggoooooooo.

It's make or break this time for Levy, he has to get the appointment spot on in order to keep out better/best players and to keep the faith of the supporters.

The number one priority (including any outfield player) who Levy must try to keep at the cub. I see him as being that important to our future.

Agree. If I could pick one of those who has been linked with a move away to stay it'd be him. We have alot of changes to make this summer, we don't need further changes forced by departures of players we want to keep.
