There is a willingness on all sides to reach an agreement before the end of the window. Everton would rather cash in on Barkley now than risk losing him for compensation next summer

He definitely needs a change of environment to kick on. His mind seems made up.

I think he'd do ok with us. It would be great to get him as a replacement for sissoko. I feel like 25 Mil would be a fair price. Thoughts?

I think £25 mil is a fair price but I think we are going to have to take one for the team with this one, I reckon it will be £30 mil.

its clear to me that Everton know they wont get £50m, but by quoting that it gives them more of a cushion to come down to the real amount they will accept.
