Could it simply be that it’s only one game this year because this year is only half a season at the new stadium, and the deal is 2 games per season?

NFL regular season only runs September to December, so that I don’t think the stadium only coming online at that time would make a difference contractually.

That’s a better set of fixtures than we normally see...so not sure if that is real haha

Denver and Pittsburgh both giving up a home game is possibly surprising

When the Broncos head over to London, I might try to do a sneaky trip home to watch them and Spurs. You never know, could be Spurs on a Saturday and the Broncos on the Sunday.

They've announced that the game at the new stadium will kick-off at 6pm our time. I doubt will try it for the first game here, but it'll be interesting to see if we go for the double header and try to get an early Sunday kick-off

Key Line:

But there’s still no reason to think it will ever happen.
Yes but the NFL is completely run by the owners, you can never know what will happen.

Prime example: There was no reason for the Browns to move from Cleveland to become the Ravens, or the Rams to move from St. Louis to LA.

The only reason NFL teams move is due to money. The Rams and Chargers moved to LA because the LA market is deemed more lucrative than St. Louis and San Diego. The earlier kick-off time in the UK gives the NFL another nationally televised game a week but also allows them to market live broadcasts to the Middle and Far East. London will eventually get an NFL franchise.

It's the reason Khan was so intent on buying Wembley and why he wants to move his Jaguars here.
