We lose if Vorm starts in net. Concedes every game. Gazzaniga please !

Watching the Watford game reminded me how limited a keeper Vorm is. Never positive, never comes out and claims it, stays on his line at all opportunities. I personally would rather Gazzaniga in goal too.

Gazzaniga had outstanding match and suddenly he's Buffon, okay then lol

There's probably a reason why Vorm is 2nd choice and Gazzaniga is 3rd...

To be fair I’ve only really seen full matches of Vorm and Gazzaniga when they have played for spurs. Based purely on those performances, I feel like Gazzaniga can be more of an asset to the team performance than Vorm.

I dunno I prefer to use a broader spectrum when evaluating players as one match isn't enough to judge the ability of a player whether they play well or not so I'm gonna use the old fashioned method of trusting the management, I know it's boring but I reckon there's a reason why one is ranked higher than the other.

Can't you just go in goal ?

Just a heads up to anyone going to the game to check the OS about travel. No underground between Baker st and Aldgate at all and anyone coming from Essex and beyond, trains running ok from Chelmsford but beyond that nada, replacement buses and same goes past Shenfield on the Southend line. One way or the other if you're coming in from the east they've got you by the nuts. Good luck everyone.:)

And if you are coming in from the west, using South Western Trains, RMT are going to be on strike.

I can only see this going one way: Ramos is visiting Wembley pre-match, and dislocates Salah's shoulder when shaking his hand. 0-0 in stoppage time, Lamela trips over his own feet trying a Rabona, pen called, Alisson issued a red card, Eriksen steps up to take the pen, grabbing the ball from Kane. Eriksen scores, but Kane claims the goal anyway.

So negative. One poor game and result and we're shit again lol.

Would you have taken a draw in this game if it followed directly after the United game?

Nope, thought not.

These are the games we do really 'turn' up for.
I said, as soon as the fixtures came out, that I would take a draw against Liverpool even predicting we would beat Manu. So no, not being negative just sticking to my opinion. No need to second guess me, we just have different opinions. Plus I didnt say that we couldn't win it.

With Dele out shame Son is probably a bit too knackered as could have played:

Vorm

KWP Alderweireld Vertonghen Rose

Winks Dier Eriksen

Moura Kane Son

You're normally quite negative, hence why I quoted you.

Dele out may be a blessing in disguise, as hopefully Lamela will come in raring to go. He will rough Liverpool up a bit and energise the team to press and harry them like mad.

We are not shit, but personally I'm somewhere between a little bit pessimistic and optimistic with this one. IMO we've been more or less poor in our 4 Prem fixtures so far this season even we've won 3. On the other hand Liverpoo has played very well. So at least I'd say we really need to improve if we want to win this one. Especially Eriksen and Kane.

Have you watched Liverpool? They have not played well at all so far this season, they look a work in progress to me and have been lucky with results. You are overrating them.

Yep, I've seen all their Prem games so far this season. IMO they've played much better than we so far. But hopefully it will be a different story tomorrow.

I'd love to know the justification of playing our 3rd choice right back in this game.

I just really hope we don't do what we seem to do every single time against liverpool and allow them to get in behind us. Look at the last few games they've played against us and Mane/Salah have been clean through by a good 10/15 yards multiple times. Playing a high line is suicide, especially if they play on the break.

Vorm had the game of his life against this lot before. Let's hope lightening strikes twice. If we go 4 at the back it would be nice to see Dier, Dembele, Winks, Eriksen in a diamond with lucas and Kane up top. I'd personally go with a 3 though

I have not been impressed with the team so far especially the defence which looks leaky as fuck so on that basis I think we will lose 1-3 Liverpool are a better team than us this year imo their investment compared with our lack of will see them be a genuine contender.
