The Son show

2 goals in the league and 1 in the CL for him.
Lamela gets an assist in the CL and Janssen in the league.

Seems like only Sonny knows at the moment how to score. I for myself haven't seen that coming.

Just found this thread, six league games and six different scorers isn't bad is it.

One own goal added. Rose deserves and assist but it doesn't count as one.
Then a second league goal for Dele and another point for Son.

The goals are not really flowing in....

One last League Cup goal by Janssen.

Well a penalty goal for Janssen and a penalty goal for Kane to add.

Otherwise nothing to report on the goal and assist front.

Two goals for Kane and one goal for Winksy. His first ever point in his Spurs career and I am so happy for him :).

No assists.

Not sure how Son doesn't get an assist for Kane's first goal? Randolph only changed the path of the ball slightly!

Exactly.

And Son should also get an "assist" for winning the penalty, surely?

Premier League has a clear rule regarding assists. And I am going with them. We had this discussion multiple times already ;)

If Randolph doesn't touch that it goes straight to the defender.

Not sure how, surely Kane's between the ball and the defender? It would've just meant he'd have had to move a bit further forwards from what I saw of it?

Watch it again if you have it, they showed it from the angle the cross came in, you can see the defender behind Randolph making ready to clear the incoming ball, Randolph intervenes and diverts it past him straight to Kane.

Ah fair enough, will do.

What's funny is the Premier League official stats give Son nothing, and yet the Premier League's own Fantasy Football game gives him two assists!

Funnily enough though I agree with the FF version of events. There are no goals from Kane without Son's cross and his drawing of the penalty.

Fantasy footy will always use pretty much anything to bump up player's points, part of the appeal of the game I suppose.
