Tottenham will be back in business in the transfer market this summer with Mauricio Pochettino chasing a series of signings — but the club accept Christian Eriksen is likely to leave.

I kinda feel like the only way we're buying is if we sell and Eriksen is the likely player to move on.

This isn't news though is it. The Fail report this shit like they have inside info.
In other Daily Fail news - sun comes up, sun goes down, water wet, hot potato hot.

Have to say these are seriously depressing players to be linked with as Eriksen replacements

Hopefully the reality is a bit more inspiring!

Better than no signings at all

I guess

IMO we'll have to sign a home grown keeper if Vorm leaves (unless we promote from within), so 5 doesn't seem excessive given that we're likely to lose Eriksen and Toby with Dembele already gone and Wanyama struggling on.

You're getting into the fantasy football mood again.
The reality is far less likely to be interesting.

strap yourselves in as it is going to be an eventful summer, and probably our most important for a long time.
Given who we are trying to compete with I am sure the penny has dropped even with Levy that (within reason) trying to do things on the cheap is not sustainable. So much depends on whether we can get top 4 i.e the type of players we can both attract and afford.
The team badly needs new blood in defence and midfield plus moves out for those not cutting it.
Almost glad I am banned from the transfer rumours thread as it is going to get messy in there!...………………(y)

If he, or anyone for that matter, dropped a penny, it would hit him on the back of his head on the way down.

Bar Grealish who is good but will cost twice as much as we could have got him for not that long ago, yeah. Really average options.

The problem is we’ve really not been very good in the transfer market for a while, even when we bought players, such it’s a bit of an unknown quantity.

Poch has built a good team from players already there, but very few he bought himself that have been much cop

Apparently Grealish has a £45m release clause. I think that will be too much for Levy to go in for him.

It definitely doesn't make sense to be using three non-homegrown squad spaces for three keepers, when one of them never plays.
