The pricing is not overly ridiculous and at the same time it is not rewarding the loyalty of the old fans.
They know they will sell the 42k season tickets due to the waiting list on file and the other match day seat will sell out, especially for the bigger matches.
At the end of day the market forces of supply and demand will always dictate that although a tad unfair, every single season ticket will sell out over the next few years.
Where I used to sit has gone up just over £100 and I’ll still renew.
Lose your seat now and you’ve lost the right to buy for a good few years.
Everyone drooled as the stadium went up, imagining that an odd pound or two increase on a season ticket would be well worth it.
The increase in prices is realistic and good value, will help finance future transfers and improve established players contract extensions.
The next time a fan says 'pay so and so the going rate' then perhaps they will hopefully realise that someone, somewhere down the pecking order has to pay for it.
I am more than happy with the increases and actually thought it would be more.

Whilst I agree with your sentiments here pal, the only thing I’d say differently is, I accept the increase, rather I’m more than happy with them.
I can just about afford the increased price for my preferred seat, but I know many will struggle, we shouldn’t leave them behind, they’ve been loyal fans all the way.
