I can remember half way through last season when so many bloggers, me included, were frustrated by Mauricio's system or philosophy as he terms it on the playing field as only a few players seemed to understand what he was looking for. Now that the whole team has bought into his philosophy it really is a joy to watch and until teams come up with a system to counter us it looks like we're in for some really exciting times. Just hope that the energy levels come March/April are still at this incredible rate.

He's going to need to learn to manage the squad properly. For instance I wouldn't be upset if we saw a much different team come Thursday than played Sunday - note I didn't say weakened

I agree and at this point in time would willingly see more squad players involved as IMHO, with such a crazy season this is turning out to be, believe we should concentrate on the league first

good point but we have had a fair few injuries, Bents, Dembele, Son and mason, chadhli, Pritchard, Townsend have been injured or are injured so our squad has been a bit thin at times in midfield and attack.

be intresting to see if Wink or Josh get a game thursday

Nice to hear the praise, but as soon as there is a dip in form the claws will be out claiming the 'wheels have fallen off' & that its the 'same old Spurs' coming to the surface. We don't need to take any notice of these goons; we just need to take one-game at a time & do the very best we can in each game.

It'll be 90% of yesterday's team again.
Rotation is key and at moment we're not doing it well enough.
I'd play mostly the same team. A win on Thursday and we can pick whoever we like in the final game against Monaco. Let's ensure qualification before we tinker too much. We could have won in Belgium but on Thursday we can complete the job.

You do realise that the game against Chelski is a noon kick off this Sunday right?

I'm sure many folks will not expect the team to out run their opponents in each and every game, without rotation.

They will tire eventually.

If our second-ish team can't beat the likes of Qarabag then they don't deserve to be near the first team. They'll be enough quality if we play Son and Lamela up front - players who haven't played all of the last two games. I'd even rest Pochetino so he can concentrate on Chelsea.

Qarabag have had some good results, so don't think they are the push over you might think. Yes, tjhere's a few changes I'd like to see. Harry rested, with Son up front and then probably Mason played instead of Dembele. However, unfortunately, we need to secure a win, so everyone needs to travel.

Mason definitely needs to play some part, as with Alli suspended for Chelsea he's got to come in and do a job, can't be off the pace, but shouldn't be too tired either

Qarabag aren't complete mugs, they've given all the other teams in this group trouble so if we take them lightly we could end up looking stupid. I'd sooner avoid a must win game against Monaco. After half an hour at the Lane I feared we'd lose at home, it'll be tougher out there.
