and yet....and yet....Real Madrid don't fanny around with their colours. Their shirts are always predominantly a brilliant white. The kit maker's stripes might move around and change colour but their shirt is always a white shirt. It isn't boring, it isn't something that should be dismissed like some comments on this page. It actually indicates a strong sporting identity.

Whereas by having all kinds of blue, yellow and the sponsor's red on our shirt we are in danger of looking like some tin pot club with similar colours such as Bolton. Our visual identify is a strength, something to be proud of.

Let the marketing men do all kinds of crazy crap on the away shirts, but leave the home shirt be. Thank you.

You might wanna check out reals shirts from the 90's

LEAKED: New Nike Tottenham 17-18 Kit Design Info

Update: With a certain fake circulating online, new details of the Tottenham 17-18 home kit design have been leaked. Not only will the Spurs 2017-18 jersey boast a different crest, it will also feature "racing stripes" in some capacity, a new leaked image shows.

http://www.footyheadlines.com/2017/01/nike-tottenham-17-18-kit.html

Hmmm... I hope those "racing stripes" are just down the side of the shirt like the lines they have on this seasons template. Racing stripes don't really go with the "clean and classy" description given previously of the shirt unless the aspect of it is quite minimal.

It's obviously taken from the England kit and not real but I would really like something like that

Agreed, that image of Harry is clearly worked from the England kit launch but it still shows potentially how classy the spurs shirt could look.

This link above from footyheadlines.com showing the football with the stripes etc sounds like it's genuine and this bit stood out for me - "Made by Nike, the Tottenham 2017-2018 home jersey is set to introduce a clean and classy look that will, unlike earlier rumors suggested, not be based on something from the teamwear catalog." So basically, not a template kit. Pat on the back for Mr Levy there I'd say, or whoever it was at the club that brokered the deal.

I would also imagine the "racing stripes" will be down the sides of the shirt from armpit down to waist or something like that and not anywhere close to a striped kit of any kind.

So a unique kit.. would be good, although would also be just our luck if we sign up with Nike and then they headhunt the visually impaired person who designs the UA kits..

I think that's a little harsh. While I'm sure most people would change certain elements of each kit, I think they did a pretty sound job overall. At least every kit was actually designed and not just part of a teamwear template.

not that bloody shield logo again. They tried to bring it back with the Hewlett Packard kit and it looked shit. Hate it

Wrong.

The following is in no way, shape or form up even up for debate:
UA's kits in 12/13 were beautiful. The 13/14 away and 3rd were 12/10's. The homes were 10/10. They 14/15 3rd was a 12/10. The 15/16 3rd was beautiful. This years aways are absolute 1000/10s and we should start wearing them every game as we're just pissing away one of the best kits we've ever had by never wearing them.

Almost all of them were shit.

The Nike kits will be out of their teamwear templates. They dont change for even their biggest customers. They won't change for us.

Stripes down side is an Adidas staple. Will not see that on a Nike kit.

Haven't got a problem with the shield to be honest. If the designers are desperate to add some kind of flourish on an otherwise all white shirt then that's fine

Then they can stick the shield around the nike logo...
We re branded to a cleaner badgea good few years ago now, and i just feel the shield doesnt work as well as the older badges we have had in the past.

Its also not the designers place to do anything to our badge. There will be strict guidelines on what the can and can not do with it
