Massive waste of money for anyone who buys him. It's a shame because whatever potential he had has been lost through injury and inactivity. I really hope Spurs aren't going for him.

Best thing for him is to move abroad. His game will develop so much more playing for Valencia than for West Bromwich

IF we signed him, I'd loan him out to a good footballing side like Swansea ,until at least Christmas, to regain his fitness and confidence. There's still a potentially excellent English player in there, and at a reasonable price?

The 10.5m quoted is hardly 'reasonable though. I can't see any mileage in this at all considering how bloated we are with central midfielders. Would much rather see money spent at LB, LW or CB where we need bolstering. We wouldn't spend that kind of money to loan him out either IMO.
