Yedlin showed bionic pace to catch up with the striker and calmly nicked the ball off him in an excellent piece of covering.

And how many players make a mistake in a game? Probably all of them. How many have the speed or indeed put in the effort to make amends?

I don't disagree we all make mistakes in games.

But that is a genuine shocker. He wasn't even under much pressure.

Well recovered though.

Yeah, it wasn't the best of work by him initially to cause the error but Yedlin is still incredibly raw and I think we all need to remember that, super fast or not.

He showed in the WC that he is capable of playing on the big stage but he's very young and needs good coaching before I expect to see him starting for Spurs. Having said that, I'm genuinely looking forward the day that he does.

great speed from Yedders albeit the striker is slowing down to shoot.

edit -- on second view, he is not slowing down that much. arriba

So he's an American Walker. Makes mistakes but has the speed to make up for them.

I don't mean that as a dig, I like Walker. If I'm honest I'll be over the moon if he turns out as good but I still get the feeling he's a commercial signing.

Get him playing a few under 21 games when he first comes over and see how he fares

Good sense of responsibility to get back and make up for his mistake. So fast!

Call yourself a Spurs fan? Should be calling for him to be put straight into the team and, at the first hint of a mistake, shout for him to be shipped out. C'mon - get with the Spurs programme!!! :)

Nice pace, that sliced....I dont even know what word to use to describe what he was attempting there lol, was worrying, he was in acres of space and did that! Hopefully we can iron those out, think he'll be a great signing.

I hope he can be good competition for walker. He's needed some competition for sometime.

I'm surprised the bashers haven't gone into melt down and jumped on him staying he's a liability and a should never play in a spurs shirt etc or some other rubbish.

This boy can run.. just hope he has the defensive positioning ability, to read attacks, able to cross the ball decently as well. Then he will be a spurs legend
