As I've posted recently, there is a very good contract already on the table that he hasn't rejected as yet. Hopefully a couple of big signings(showing our intent) will push this over the line, because from what I hear it's not financials holding this one up.

As for Trix post only fair that he wants to see the club show some ambition. Hopefully some good transfer business, Harry and a couple of the others signing new deals and City backing off due to Laporte should do the trick.

Poch was interesting on the Toby convo in his presser. Says he is not available and not on the list as match fit for tomorrow. Another journalist pressed him on Toby and he said "[Toby] is not on the list. I'm not going to say nothing."
From the video he seemed rather peeved at being pressed for more info and had been asked the same question multiple times (including from one journo about Real and the PR man had to shut him down) so I would wager it was just that and nothing nefarious but interesting all the same.

We have just beaten utd and signed a new player. Yet at 02:30 in the morning you are worried about toby signing a new contract?

Would be great to have him back but with each game and every important win without him i miss him less.
Excellent defender of that there is no doubt. But we will be fine without him. This drama needs finality so i say sell him at the end of the season should he not sign.
