So nice for you to show your true colours.
true colours? I've never hid them; my friends/family know exactly who I am and what I think on specific subjects. You and I have nothing in common other than we both support the same club....oh and that you seem to have a much more tolerant view of racists than I do. Each to their own. Now, I have to pop out and kick a few racists heads! (Joking, of course)

You don't really get this journalism thing, do you?

Sherwood is 'talking about him' because some journalist asked him whether he would tell the Spurs players to refuse to shake Adam's hand (a carefully worded way to provoke a longer reply) and he explained why he would not.
Could have given a much shorter, vaguer answer. Yes the point he shouldn't talk about it is unrealistic due to the machinations of press conferences, and he's trying not to be a hypocrite because he was a nasty bastard as a player too on occasion, but there's no need to embellish

Believe it or not managers aren't obliged to give detailed answers to every question they're asked, and should avoid ones that will clearly rile the fans unless, of course, they're designed to. Managers play at getting reactions, Tim and AVB have both had a go this season with varying results, but what's the desired reaction here?

I would argue Tim doesn't "get" this management business as he seems to be on a personal mission to alienate large swathes of our support, the club and, more alarmingly, the players. He's supposed to represent the club and with these comments he certainly doesn't

The players and the fans have spoken at length of their distaste for Adam, it's almost universal as he has a history of trying to crock our players, probably not a good idea to play nice with him, yeah?

Easy win to be enigmatic about it but missed the open goal

serious question, can you get sent off before the game kicks off? Never thought of it before!
You definitely can get sent off prior to the match starting.
What I'm not 100% certain of is whether or not they'd start with 10 men or 1 less substitute.

Just Googled it:

LAW 3 - THE NUMBER OF PLAYERS

Players and substitutes sent off
A player who has been sent off before the kick-off may be replaced only by one of the named substitutes.

A named substitute who has been sent off, either before the kick-off or after play has started, may not be replaced.

I suspect the sophisticated language mumbo-jumbo is an attempt to hide your embarrassment.......
Well it doesn't.
Embarrassed? Perhaps you'd like to explain why I should feel embarrassed. Actually, don't bother. I couldn't give a damn what you think (if you think at all).
