Got a sunderland ticket and my points loyalty was only 10 being a new member. I put the highest ticket price in my application.

It's only Cat A games that are allocated based on loyalty points. For every other game a member with 3 loyalty points has just as much chance of getting a ticket as someone with 300.

Thanks for that, good to know.

So i probably don't rate my chances high for getting a ticket for Man City game then.

Got s ticket for Sunderland, completely wrong part of ground for me, getting really pissed off with paying out my hard earned to sit nowhere near where I always have, ruins the day - that's one gone back to the ticket office for reprocessing.

i don't go anymore, or not regular, 1 per season if i can but mobility and distance of car park and no membership anymore means i'll not visit the lane in it's final season (1st visit 1973/74 home lose to Sheff Utd).

I can understand your frustration, but to keep the stadium on schedule they had to remove 4? thousand seats, most of those being season ticket holders. there is a good chance those that have renewed and been re-seated are in the area you prefer.

if i was mobile enough and had the finances I would sit anywhere to support my team. the only thing that should ruin your day is us losing or drawing, because every one that does go use there hard earned to pay for a ticket.

Yes you most probably meet up with the same group of people, well if you know them well enough arrange to meet in the boozer before hand, if it's due to the liking being in where the atmosphere is, then try and get it rocking where you are, because there is a very good chance the atmosphere won't be as good in the Park Lane this season, if all the main seats have gone to the quiet NE corners fans

this is going to be a long drawn out season for many that like to go to certain areas, but what are you going to do when we are at Wembley for next season?

what are you going to do once the new stadium is up, and don't get to buy or be able to purchase a season ticket in the rough area you like go to now?

i know what you are saying. just paid out 250 quid for 4 tickets for liverpool game, two of which are for my kids which i had to pay adult prices for, so ive got more chance of ticket.....palace game is in an area i dont want to sit, paying top dollar so ive got more chance in the lottery.

maybe i have been spoilt in previous years actually being able to choose the seat from those available and choosing a price that isnt killing me.

maybe once youve had a level of service, you shouldnt be happy to pay more for less when its not needed......

i love spurs as much as everyone and been going since i was eleven and done some stupid crazy things over the years to see them but i dont agree with the way things are being done this season with the lottery. all they should have done is improve the crap ticketing system that will need to be improved anyway.....

just my opinion and yes i will be kicking myself for months over it

due to the lack of seats available, they selected to do a ballot system to give everyone a chance of at least getting to a few games. if they kept to the shit ticketing system they had in place last season, only bronze members would get a chance to go, others on other memberships would miss out, just like those that are not members unless they pay through the nose for stubhub tickets. those that pay any kind of membership shouldn't have to only rely on stubhub

Applied for Everton and Southampton and got fuck all. So frustrating. There goes my chance of getting to WHL one more time.

I was getting the tickets piece of piss at the beginning of the season, now I'm not getting a sniff.

Just got to hope you find someone reasonable on stub hub... I've done it twice and paid face value.

Trouble is trying to get 2 tickets. Prices for those are never face. Still got Watford and Bournemouth to try for. Need to get back got the lane as the only games I have been able to get to this season were the bloody CL games!

I've applied for 7 games that are non-cat A this season and got 1 poxy ticket (Boro home). Thankfully have enough loyalty points to guarantee Cat A games, and go up with a big enough group that I can usually get a ticket for any game I need anyway, but still frustrating. Will be happy to see the back of this ballot.

Is there a price cap on SH? Or could tickets for United/Arsenal games literally go for 100's?

I just looked on there for Everton tickets and the cheapest ones for 2 tickets are £115 each!

Kick in the teeth to those of us who applied and were unsuccessful.

12k applications for 5.4k tickets. Basically a 40-45% chance not taking into account the max price you choose

Rather take my chances through the donut of death

Are the cat A games only done on loyalty points for this year?

If you've got decent loyalty points (50+) you'll easily get tickets for class A home games.
I got City, West Ham and Chelsea no problem. Leicester on the other hand I didn't initially but then got offered one via the club the day before the game as not every one bought one.

I've applied for 6 games I think, and Southampton is the first ballot I've won.
