Would be interesting if they got relegated. They have a couple players that could improve us. Tielemans(CM/DM) and Pellegri (ST).
I think @Ghost Hardware mentioned Pellegri at some point in regards to being a potential star in the making.

Yup, big things are expected of him. He has the build for the PL as well. Monaco actually have a few players we could look at. They also got Golovin in summer but doubt he will stay if they go down. Always been impressed by him when I have seen him.

@SlumDilla here is a YouTube of him at 16 playing for Genoa then a goal he scored for Monaco recently. I know it's YouTube, and you should come to a judgement based of it, but this kid really has talent.

From https://worldfootballindex.com/2017/11/pietro-pellegri-genoa-scout-report/

Currently, Pietro Pellegri is just 17 years of age. Check. He stands at 6’5”, which is 1.96 meters if you are keeping track. Okay, so he has great size. Check. Ball control in close quarters? Check. Pace? Check. All of that plus a nose for goal. Okay, you have my attention now. I’ll bite. He certainly is in the mould of Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Absurd! We should definitely look at him further. If he's that mobile at that height, he'll tear up the league.

Hate the prick as he hates Spurs. Management is such a tough gig, you can talk a good game but putting that onto the field amongst an array of players with personalities is horrible. Gary Neville, Shearer, Henry have struggled and knew the game inside out.

Anyway, Henry is a bellend.
completely agree although i don't think he even talked a good game. As a pundit on sky he was shocking, only ever stated the obvious and never gave any real insight or raised any interesting points. I assume his management style is much the same hence is current record...........bless him the arrogant twat.

Would love him to get relegated. Pretty sure he would try to veto any of their players coming to us though.

seemed a harsh sending off, but could have gone for the elbow at the corner earlier.
Pen was poor.

AM havent tried this half and still been the better side...

Delighted he’s doing badly - he was part of the mutiny for WC2010. Arrogance and bullying of another player with random homophobic insults just because he was not a trash bag. (Lloris defended said player - CAPTAIN HERO)

Henry, Evra, Ribéry, Gallas, Anelka - misery and despair forever pls

Crazy penalty shoot out in the cup between monaco and rennes where the Monaco keeper saves the day by scoring the final penalty

You know Gallas played for us right?
And he really helped change the mindset at this club as well. I hated the fker when he was at the scum and then the other scum but he did a good job for us imo.

I never liked him when he played for us either.

I never liked him until I saw an interview with him and he was talking about Spurs defeatest attitude and lack of self belief. He hated losing and if I remember correctly he said he was shocked when he joined at players attitudes. Thankfully thats changed but I think Gallas and Davids were big changes for us. Winners who knew what was required to win.
Anyway, going of on a tangent here, apologies.

It's an English thing. Australian cricketers used to say the same about their English counterparts. We joke about Spursy, English batting collapses, Henman choking at Wimbledon, etc. to mask the fact that English sport at that particular period suffered from a weak, defeatist mentality.

Hopefully, with Spurs doing well with an English core, our performance at the World Cup last year and the cricket team going into a World Cup and Ashes series as the favourites means we've left that awful, frustrating period behind us.
