No doubt, Dana believes that Usman has a better chance of taking out Woodley so has screwed Colby. Never underestimate how much Dana hates Woodley. I hate Colby overall but he def got done over here and tbh his trashing of the UFC and Dana was right on point

What reason would Dana have for 'hating Woodley' (genuine question) ?

No real logical reason tbh, just Dana at his unreasonable and prickish best. They’ve had an extremely fractured relationship for years. Dana likes fighters that will do whatever the UFC wants, no questions asked, even if its a very poor choice for their own careers.

Woodley has never allowed himself to be forced into situations by White such as rushing training camps, fighting injured or before he is ready, adjusting his style to placate White and others belief that he doesn’t fight in an exciting enough style.

Woodley has been very openly and vocally critical of the UFC in the past, likewise White has on several occasions appeared to throw his champion under the bus.

A quick google search will bring up tons of stuff.

See after the Till fight and how pissed off Dana was that he didn’t have another UK cash cow to ride and had to put the belt back around Woodleys waist.

Woodley hasn’t been without his faults either through all of this. Far too thin skinned and at times in the past far too quick to pull a race card.

Thanks for that. I love watching UFC but I don't follow the day to day shenanigans inside the sport or go too much into the personal characters involved. One thing's for sure. Tyron is a wonderful fighter who fully deserves his belt, and Dana, seeing what the UFC has become over the last ten years, is obviously a wonderful President.

Cejudo posted a pic and he looks in great condition. TJ has to cut a lot of weight so I hope it doesnt affect his performance

That was the most greg hardy thing ever and im very pleased. Horrible person. An absolute disgrace by Dana to put a person like him on this card with a girl like Rachel. Incredibly disrespectful. So that served White and UFC right. Pushed a horrible, dirty human and well, he did an extremely dirty thing to the shock of no one. Greg Hardy is a twat. We saw it in the NFL. Saw it with his criminal charges and we see it again here. Fuck greg hardy.

Whoever chalks that up to inexperience is an idiot, btw. Looking at you, Cormier and Anik. You clowns. He knew what he was doing. He knew it was illegal. It wasnt a mistake. He was going to do that if he got the chance after being taunted. Thats why he sat there and sulked instead of maybe doing what a person who made a mistake would do and check to see if hes okay.

Terrible stoppage in the main event IMO. Was looking forward to seeing if and how Dillashaw would react or recover and he wasn't given the chance.

Just watched the Cejudo/Dillashaw fight. Joke of a stoppage. He was taking punches but there's no way he wouldn't have been able to get up and respond. If he was badly busted open or on his back and unable to defend himself I'd understand.

Yeah, I thought the stoppage was way too early too. TJ is capable of coming back from situations like that and winning. He got knocked down against Cody and got up and nearly murdered him at the end. TJ is such a great fighter and I have so much respect for him at his own weight. The crucial thing is, most fighters go up a weight when they dominate their own weight, but TJ went down one and came up against Henry, who is an animal. For all we know, TJ going down a weight lost him some muscle strength as they said might happen in the pre-match commentary.

You need the more experienced refs in the big fights. As soon as TJ went down from the push the first time the ref was itching to jump in. TJ was hurt but he was still scrambling and the ref should have given it 10 more seconds.

The weight cut was to much imo, I don't really need to see the fight again at 125 but won't be mad to see it at 135 for TJ's title.

Wow. I have no idea what Greg Hardy has or hasn't done and I'm a bit afraid to ask, but I feel I must...

"On May 13, 2014, Hardy was arrested for assault and communicating threats, after he was alleged to have assaulted an ex-girlfriend by grabbing her, throwing her into furniture, strangling her, and threatening to kill her."

Robert Whittaker out of the main event fight tonight. Damn that's disappointing. It's even worse when it's late that someone can't even step in on late notice.

Max holloway vs dustin poirier for the interim title at 155lbs. Tony ferguson wanted to be paid more and the UFC declined.

Anyone see the 235 conference? I think Ben Askren is great, he's a really funny guy.

There is a lot of hype surrounding him, let's see if he is as good as everyone says he is, how do you think he will do against Robbie Lawler?

Impossible to tell. In addition to the unknowns about Askren, Lawler is coming back from a looooong injury lay-off and may not be what he was 3 odd years ago. I think Askren wins
