A four goal swing since the playoff. If we keep improving like that I can’t wait to meet Denmark again.

But scoring a goal would be nice too.

My little un fell asleep 20 minutes before kick off. When you know, you know.

I cooked a Ruby - ate it and washed up all while the match was on.

I don't think the Ire/Wales game is showing live on Tuesday, I won't look too hard for it, I see the N.Ireland match is showing on Virgin (TV3) and I'll not bother with that either.

Surely Vesta Boil in the Bag don't take 90 minutes?

Not sure rashford playing wide is good, but not the worst team that could be picked for this game. Like the idea of dier, winks and maddisin in the cm places.

I hate these international breaks so much. The weekend is so boring with no PL footy to look forward to.

Wonder if they will scrap it, or at least reduce the number of games at some point? More and more players skip international games it seems like. Can't really fault the player either considering the huge amount of games they play already, and it's the clubs that pay them their wages after all.

I think it's crazy that they have so much international football straight after the World Cup, so stupid.

I'm actually okay with the amount of international football. I think if you reduce it much more it'll be near impossible to get the teams working coherently together and that will very much impact the quality of the major summer tournaments. I also don't buy the fatigue thing. Inevitably if you scrapped them the clubs would make games to fill up the slots, but you'd probably have three matches (the weekend and both midweeks) rather than two, being played with less rotation and a higher level of intensity.

I'd rather start by scrapping the League Cup than do away with internationals, though I agree that players play too many games as is. But I do think a six month break from internationals after a World Cup would be a good thing.

The problem is that some teams are disproportionately affected by the international breaks. Whilst arsenal and West ham get a week off Spurs, City and Liverpool pick up loads of additional pointless and avoidable injuries.

It's too early to say if this tournament will be a success, but if you look at group D you've got Georgia, Belarus, Macedonia & Kosovo topping their groups. It must be nice for their fans to taste a bit of success for a change and to have a chance of making the playoffs for Euro 2020.
As for getting rid of friendlies completely the League of nations is a European competition, so we should be using the friendly slots to practice against sides from the rest of the world. How boring would it be if we only met an African or South American side once every four years?

I'm not sure that hurting the bigger sides and evening out the league a bit is a bad thing

Agreed. Bit too RAWK for me to be complaining about being penalised for having better players.
