With 2 years left on his deal, I don't think that figure is too farfetched
How much did coutinho go for in the last year of his deal?

Barcelona wouldn’t bid for Eriksen, Levy wouldn’t accept a huge profit on a player, or Eriksen wouldn’t want to play for Barcelona? Which one do you doubt?
Well, hang on a sec. You're forgetting the window is still open elsewhere. There was no incentive for clubs to buy these players before the PL deadline, which is why it was so foolhardy for the deadline toi be brought forward without the same happening ion other countries. We could have sold our deadwood at 10m a pop and made 40m or something. Sissoko, GKN, Janssen, Llorente, whomever else. We didn't even try by the looks of it. It's like they really didn't give a fuck at all
Even Levy wouldn't be so stupid as to sell a key player after the window for incomings in closed.
And 75 mill is laughable
ok so our squad wasn't good enough last year to mount a serious challenge for domestic trophy. We haven't improved that squad and moving into a new stadium. Could be a serious risk to the progression of this club.

Agree its a risk but you say squad wasnt good enough....possibly yes but i still maintain if our 1st team played we would have got to final of cup and i think won it
If the issue is the market being crazy because of the early close and we can’t sell players then all that can be fixed in the remainder of the European window. Ship out Janssen et al and agree purchases now for January. Anyone expect that to happen ? Hell no because it is all excuses, all to cover up our lack of funds due to us not getting a naming sponsor. It’s really annoying me now how Levy has Poch trotting out the party line on stadium cost. Does anyone really believe the stadium is costing £1bn or that costs have gone up 30% due to Brexit ? A 5 y/o can pick holes in that. The stadium is costing about £400m the rest of the cost is on ancillary building projects, all of which are presumably only being built because they are supposed to be profitable and should be financed on a standalone basis. Building inflation has been about 5% post Brexit suggesting it is 30% is to suggest all the materials are coming from the EU and all the workers are paid in Euro. Just utter nonsense. I hate being taken for a mug and right now Levy is taking us all for mugs.
Brave - you know what would be brave ? Levy in a room with a bunch of season ticket holders immediately after this window closed. He might not get out alive.
Lloris was the only one missing.
turn what around? We are in the champions league for the third straight season. He can continue to build if thats what you mean.
And what if we had no offers? We could have sold our deadwood at 10m a pop and made 40m or something. Sissoko, GKN, Janssen, Llorente, whomever else. We didn't even try by the looks of it. It's like they really didn't give a fuck at all
We can't just wave a magic wand and force a club to bid on players when we want them to.
I didn't realise that deal was that good. Phenomenal business to get that much for a loan, when you think about it.Janssen wasn't sold last summer when the windows were alligned. We then got £6m for a year loan after our window was closed. If a club wants them and they think the deal is good they'll do business, because someone else might.
Were the 10th (?) richest club in the world; we managed to buy Davinson for £40m or something last year and you're telling me that this year we couldn't afford to pay a bit more to get one quality CM into the club? Absolute bullshit.
Last season we finished a distant 3rd in the league and were generally competitive in the cups, if we genuinely wanted to progress beyond that, then I think it is clear our squad needed strengthening and a couple of key man risks needed addressing. In particular we have been extremely lucky Eriksen has not had any serious injuries and in my view we have no real cover for him and he is also largely the only real creative player we have.
For me the only rational explanation for our total lack of activity in the TW is that we are under serious financial constraints - that is the stadium costs are going through the roof. Stories of poor contracting, ever changing requirements and contract management issues in relation to the stadium project have even found their way down to NZ. If it's not the stadium then hey we were just inept in identifying genuine gettable targets and executing.
