not seen him myself but from what i've read he's one who relies a lot on his physicality, obviously he must be half decent in other areas as well though. to be fair we had reo last season who put up similar numbers before he left for lyon, harrison had a pretty decent record at u18 level as well.

I think the lack of strikers coming through is largely as a result of so many sides playing with a sole striker. For the kids playing up there its a big ask physically and tactically, Plus it tends to lend itself to the big lads playing up top and there not always the most able technically and what it has led to is a death of the old fashioned second forward the old fox in the box who perhaps doesn't contribute greatly but scores goals

Not sure but looking at youth hawk twitter account he should be . He finished joint 5th top goal scorer out of every team in the PL2 Division 1. He also finished joint 3rd top scorer at U18s for the south when he was an U18. View attachment 50104 View attachment 50106
This year U18s we had Parrott joint 6th

Pedant alert!

It's a misconception, not a fallacy. :geek:

Pendant? I'm not wearing a... Oh I see what you meant...
:cautious:

Edit: technically it could be regarded as a fallacy as it's still the use of invalid or faulty reasoning in the making of an argument. (Tall goalkeepers concede low shots)

Some more ex-spurs news...

Apparently Arsenal right back Bayli Spencer-Adams hasn't opted to sign the one year professional contract he was offered and is likely to leave on a free.

Apparently Crystal Palace striker Brandon Aveiro aka Brandon Young-Chambers has been offered a professional contract.

QPR midfielder Nathan Orafu has also been offered a professional contract (unconfirmed).

Norwich attacking midfielder Anis Mehmeti signed a one year professional contract recently, I believe.

Jack Munns has been released by Dagenham & Redbridge.

Winger Sean Shields has been transfer listed at Ebbsfleet along with every other contracted player.

I believe winger George Brown has been released by Colchester.

Veteran winger Mark Yeates has been offered another year at Eastleigh.

Ruben Lameiras has been offered a new deal by Plymouth.

Ipswich have all but confirmed that Simon Dawkins will be released and question marks are hanging over midfielder Grant Ward following their relegation.

Current part-time Spurs academy coach Stuart Lewis has been released by Dover.

Fullback Jack Barthram has been transfer listed at Barrow.

Forward Kudus Oyenuga and Fullback Matt Young have been released by Chelmsford.

Unsuccessful trialist Caolan Lavery has been released by promoted Sheff Utd.

Striker Gary Hooper has been released by Sheff Wed.

Lots of clubs still haven't released their retained lists so there will still be plenty of ex-Spurs on the move over the coming weeks.

Gary Hooper was a spurs academy product? Wow, I didn't know it

It appears first-year scholar J’Niel Bennett was the 19th man on Sunday.

Bennett was on the side of the pitch during the warm-up. He's a good player. Big boost and recognition for the season he's had.

Is there a chance we’ve all missed something in regards to George marsh. Still with the squad pictured today and basically the no 1 pick from the academy after Skipp. Nearly everyone back as well so not like we are making up numbers for training. I guess Pochettino must see something or he’s just very hard working.

We’re playing Manchester United at Old Trafford this evening, with what appears to be teams made up of next year’s first and second-year scholars.

Our Under-15s lost 2-1 to China U15 earlier, with Dane Scarlett scoring our goal in his first game back from a 10-week injury lay-off.

No! He's absolutely gash but no doubt we'll give him another year.

More ex-Spurs news.

Luton Town goakeeper Tiernan Parker has been offered a development deal.

Rotherham defender Dominic Ball has been released by Rotherham.

Goalkeeper Jordan Archer has been released by Millwall with another ex-Spurs goalkeeper David Martin is considering an extension from Millwall.

When QPR and the Premier League clubs release their retained lists we'll find out a lot more. QPR have at least a dozen ex-spurs on their books.

The Under-15s lost 3-2 yesterday in the Slavia International Cup. One of our goals was a beautiful free-kick from 25 yards, straight into the top-right corner, from Dante Cassanova.

They won 5-2 today I’m their final game of the tournament and are returning home this afternoon.
