I seem to recall that when the likes of Kane and Townsend were training with the first team and then dropped back to the rezzies they ripped it up. In fact they were asking to play for them because they wanted the game time.

But if I remember they were having regular game time. These guys were either on loan or playing EL football at least and playing u21 football in between. Not being held back from academy football and first team football and being dropped back in for a one off game.

I think there should be an U17 squad ? You’d expect Cirkin to be in that. Feels a bit weird that even though our U18 are flying high, doesn’t feel like a lot to be excited about at moment bar Parrott. Quite a few decent prospects but not many real standouts.

He's about 7th on my list of ones to get excited about.

I would have loved to have gone to the u18 match but annoyingly I'm busy that day. I'll be going to the legends match though.

My app has to be wrong. Its got us playing 4-4-2 (how long since we've done that?) with Armandao Shashoua in central defence and Binks holding in midfield. I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest that those two players are the other way round and that we're not, infact, playing 4-4-2 at all.

I see Pedder has started the U18 game today, has he featured for them many times?

I'm going to guess we're going 4-2-3-1 cum 4-3-3.

Oluwayemi in goal, Binks and Walcott ahead of him, Okedina on the right, Statham on the left, Pedder sitting in midfield, Shashou and Markanday ahead, Pochettino on the right, Clarke on the left and Whittaker leading the line.

30 minutes gone and we're seemingly in complete control. 76% possession and 3 shots (2 on target) to the Canaries 0.

Subs today are Chay Cooper, Kasper Kurlyowicz, Elliott Thorpe & Nile John. Interesting to see Thorpe there. He's hardly been seen in the last 18 months.

3-0 now. Shashoua '64 and Markanday '68.

According to my app Norwich are still to register a shot on or off target.

Whittaker and Pedder have been replaced by John and Cooper, Thorpe has come on to replace Markanday. No hattrick for Dilon.

1st goal was assisted by Clarke. Shashoua's goal was a penalty. Markanday's second was assisted by Poch junior.
