Currently at Schalke he is still givign the ball away in dangerous positions due to silly dribblings.
He is not a safe starter at Schalke and they are not doing too well, Champions League aside. I still try to track his development as I had high hopes for him and even bought his shirt. But honestly everytime I see him I think he has not really developped.
Still some solid passing and would have him as an option on the bench given our lack of CMs but then I don't think that would please him.

Heard another story by someone from Schalke that even if the team has won Bentalebs mood is down when he hasnt played a big part. Good to be ambitious, but can be dangerous for the mood in the dressing room as well.

Such a shame he left. Part of me understands, that he was young and impatient looking for opportunity, but considering he was already established first teamer I think he could have shown a lot more patience. There aren't many better players to play under as a youngster and its not like a season of being in and out of the side would have hampered his career he had already established himself as a Premier League player. I could understand him getting impatient if he hadn't made his debut yet and him getting itchy feet, but that wasn't the case.

I'm sure if he had stayed with us he would have been a lot better player than he is now. There haven't been many better 19yo CMs in the PL I don't think, he was genuine quality I thought and proper silky, and you could tell cared so much about the club.

The way Binks has played this year I would have him on that list.

#25 OLIVER SKIPP (TOTTENHAM)

Much was made of Tottenham’s failure to recruit new players in the summer, but such hysteria underestimated both Mauricio Pochettino’s willingness to trust young players and his ability to improve them.
Skipp’s emergence as a reliable midfield understudy for one of the best sides in the country has been understated but no less impressive, prompting Pochettino to liken his teenage enforcer to “a 30-year-old man” after his first Premier League start in December.

As you can see 9 of the 10 players here all came through the Football League. Opportunity will always trump talent.

Got a lot of time for this tweet. Fortune remains the primary method of getting an opportunity, not talent.

Watching TOB tonight ..there is a very good player in there but he just seems to play within himself. There is one moment around 69 mins when he powered past a couple in his own half and knocked a perfect ball for Roles to hit the post. Hardly ever seen him out of 2nd gear. Is he playing to instructions or is that how he is.

Massive fan of Harvey White, think he'll take a similar path as Skipp has to the first team. Best left foot I've seen come through the academy.
