I think markanday is a similar player to what Samuel shaushoa was . But not as good . The thing that worries me about him is again his size , I don’t think he’s going to be very big , I could be wrong . But as shown with Samuel and marcus you have to be an exceptional player to make it with us if your small . I’m wondering if we may see him helping out and playing more as a left back , as not sure he will be able to cut it as a left winger as he progresses to the older age groups , at the early stages that is

For his size he is one of the strongest players I have seen in a long time and I do not understand why.

He will often come away with the ball in a lot of 50-50s and he wins a lot of free kicks.

Very Funny to watch a Big Defenders crash into him and not come away with the ball.

He is still very young and has a long way to go but what he is doing now just like other players is very promising.

Only reason I say that is because I have seen a lot of players his size excel at u18 , but struggle big time ,when they move to 23s . Maybe I will be wrong

I've watched Lyons-Foster a few times and I've always been impressed.

He didn't play at the weekend for the u18's. Does anyone know why?

probably being saved for the checkatrade game against portsmouth tomorrow.

the match at the weekend was in the pl cup which is essentially the u18 equivalent of the league/carabao cup, so we often rotate the squad a lot for those games.

Ogilvie, does he have any chance of coming through with us?
No and It is a shame because you can tell he has something but the injuries have cost him over the last few years.

I did watch him play at the start of the season when our u23s played at Enfield Town and Ogilvie and Edwards was the two best players on the day.
