So who will be missing from U18s on international duty ? As it’s such a special occasion wonder if they will be sent back ?

Jack Roles also came off the bench for cyprus u21 and scored to win the game for them 1 0
The more I see/hear of Roles the more I think his lack of first team development is downtown contractual issues

There are some on here that rave about Roles, the fact he doesn't start for Cyprus U21s is interesting. I know nothing of him but it does appear something is missing

Let’s not get carried away with someone scoring a goal for Cyprus U21. I think the chef in my local cafe probably has.

I don’t think anyone is getting carried away with him scoring for Cyprus u21, not everyone changes their opinions like they change their socks

You misunderstand AGAIN the fact that this lad is doing that even though he’s still an under 20 age group and playing with team mates that you seem to think are local cafe workers , actually makes him even better , as he is not getting as much help from them as you would let’s say if you played for England . I’m sure if Roles had the army around him of say very good England players , he would perhaps be scoring a load more goals . To say it means nothing for a young player to score internationally , who is playing above his age group just shows how wrong your mind set is . Also the fact that he is doing it at U23s level for a premier league team and is their top goal scorer and I will add top assister . Does that mean his tottenham team mates are also chefs in your local cafe ?

I see that kane has tweeted about Sunday’s u18 game in our new stadium , which makes me think we are struggling to get 30,000 fans , which I believe we need as part of the test event .
Unfortunately I cannot make it , but it would be great if someone Who is going could give us a rundown after the event

Blimey lighten up it was a joke. My opinion hasn’t changed on Roles. When you consider who he is competing with for a place in a Spurs xi he is miles off imo. And not quite sure I get your thinking that by scoring loads in a shit team somehow makes you a better player. If that were the case every league 2 top scorer would be getting PL moves.

Is Roles going to make it with us? I haven't had the pleasure of seeing him play. What type of player is he?

It's invite only isn't it? I'd love to go given half a chance, but work and family meanI go so seldom that I can't justify a membership.

will roles make it with us? well given how it's gone for other more lauded prospects then in all likelihood, no, but then he is on a different path to them so maybe he will be one of those to fly under the radar and make it without all of the fanfare that others have received. as for what type of player he is, here are his strengths and weaknesses, imo;

++
anticipation

+
aggression
composure
movement
finishing
vision

-
dribbling
pace
strength

he has 12 goals and 7 assists this season playing mostly as an attacking midfielder. stylistically he's similar to dele, he doesn't always appear to be the smoothest with the ball at his feet but wherever he goes goals usually follow him and he just has that knack that some players have of being in the right place at the right time. he's not quick or a dribbler so as an attacking player he won't immediately catch the eye but he's game smart and delivers where it matters. i think what's holding him back at the moment is his physique, his body is similar to kane's when he first started playing senior football, if he can really work on that over the next year or two then we might have a player on our hands. for some reason though the club apparently haven't offered him a new deal yet though so maybe those involved just simply don't rate him.

Georgiou started for Cyprus it seems unless they have another A. Georgiou, they’re 5 0 up, it’s against San Marino, he’s not one of the scorers
