Don't think any of them are playing?

Hey, I can dust off the boots if needs be

Under 16's playing at Cambridge united tonight 7pm. Annual event

Forgot about this. I thought last year was u15s, but if u16s makes sense as I saw some on insta at Cambridge.

Thanks for posting. Who are the names to look out for @IGSpur @Blake Griffin @Spurzinho?

It's hard to know who to say who to look out for without knowing who is there. What also makes this difficult is that one of the age groups either u15s or u14s played in a tournament today. They beat Southampton 1-0 and Liverpool 3-2. So some players will be there. Also there is an England u15 camp, I know John is at and there is a chance the Craig twins and Lusalala and Oluwayemi are there too.

Bennetts streamed a vid on insta and from the players I saw there it looks like Pedder is playing. I haven't seen him in a while as he was injured last year but is talented. Bennetts is a tricky winger.

I know they have taken u14s Haysman and Forson. I have said before they look very very good for their age group. If they play 2 years up, especially Haysman considering his size, it is really impressive. Forson, is another Onomah type, and Haysman can either be a deep lying play maker or no.10.

If you are there please give teamsheet if possible

@DezFitz Looking at this tweet it looks like in order

White, Green, Unsure, Binks, Unsure, Asante, Walcott, Unsure (could be Forson), Glean, Madeuke, Bennetts

-----------------Green---------------
Unsure--Walcott--Binks-------Unsure
----------------White----------------------
Glean--Forson-Madueke------Bennetts
----------------Asante-------------------------

One of the unsures is probably Josh Gray. If it is Forson I imagine that's how they would lineup, with Bennetts or Glean on either side.

So knowing this Binks, Walcott, White, Forson, Madeuke are worth looking out for. I don't know HOW good either of Bennetts or Glean are. I know they are good players but not as to what level. Asante is also a very decent striker

Fullbacks at U16 level are Kane Patterson, Alexander Monroe, Dequan Wilson-Braithwaite, Dennis Cirkin.

Crystal Palace losing 4-1 against Bristol City in the Carabao Cup. Kirby not even on the bench. Silly lad.

Of course it's Cirkin. Compeltely forgot about him, looking back at them walking out it does look like him. One way to confirm, @DezFitz did the LB look good? If so it will be him as he is talented.

Definitely not the first 3. Never new Monroe was a fullback and haven't seen DWB for a while so don't know if eh is still at the club.

Da Silva, Nelson, Willock all got on the pitch for Arsenal today and Nketiah scored a brace. I don't like Arsenal but I never mind seeing young players doing well. Let's hope no PL clubs actually start using their academy players properly as things would get a lot harder, though England would get a lot better. All of these players are better than Iwobi, and it's good their giving the chances to their best players. Let's see if it continues though. Nketiah has been scoring for fun in the last couple of years and he has done well today. Good thing he left Chelsea.

Would love to see some of our players get chances tomorrow. I imagine KWP will start, and maybe Georgiou could appear on the bench but I imagine that's it. 3 of the 4 players above are younger than Edwards. I don't expect them to all kick on and play but all of them are potentially top PL players. If Nketiah gets a couple of chances as a result he could be a problem as he takes the next step. Would love to see some of ours get this.

They started with 5 players and their entire bench from the academy (though 3 players were signed when they were 17), so that is pretty impressive. Saying that, playing youngsters in the League Cup is Wenger's thing and they only have 2 players that have played over 90 minutes in the league (though we are not much better with 3).

Wenger is always happy to give opportunities but generally, like other managers, is afraid of trusting them when it matters. But they show initially are good enough. Wenger is terrible at coaching and developing talented young players which is Poch's speciality.

It's why I'm so annoyed he doesn't give more chances. If he can just get past that initial worrying phase once in squad he will make them even better. Even Winks caught his break in 2 big matches as there were so many injuries.

I don't doubt from here that he will make him into a 30m player at least, now Winks has shown he can play against the best in the world. Imagine how well he'd do with Edwards if he ever got that chance

Winks was being eased in before injuries to others last season. His progress was only halted by his own injury.Which he admitted was still giving him pain this season.Hence dropping out of U21 squad earlier. As soon as has been fully fit he has featured.Edwards obviously isn’t ready and is still 18.TOB has featured at 17.KWP is being eased in.To Say poch doesn’t give kids a chance is ludicrous.

And Wenger doesn’t play these kids in league cup to bolster them.He does it to save his 1st squad.I remember 10 years ago Wenger being lorded for playing kids in league cup.How many of them actually progressed Ramsey wilshere iwobi Gibbs struggling to think of any others.Anyone can Just chuck kids in a league cup team.Is that really furthering them as players clearly not.Much better to drip them into PL games as poch does over a couple of seasons.
