All the under 21 players at each club are named so it means nothing. It's not even right as CCV and Josh are in it. Chelsea have various players named who are away on loan for the season. Tammy Abraham is in Chelsea and Swansea squads
We named Will Miller in our squad, who we sold to Burton yesterday.

Edwards appears to have some intent about him, scoring great goals and turning down the loan, from what I read. Do those who watch the youths think he's close to breaking through?

especially we did not bring in any new attacking midfielders this TW, hopefully we can see him starting in FA cup and League Cup matches so that we can rest eriksen for the more important matches

He has got to be worth last 10-15 mins at Wembley when we are struggling to break down the likes of West Brom. He can win free kicks , and even score them himself. It's almost 2 years since Eriksen scored from a free kick! Looks like he has filled out a bit. He will never be big but neither is Modric and he coped ok in prem lge

I dont think he will get much game time for the first team until he really improves his work rate, especially with his pressing

From what I've seen I don't think he's the best prospect in the youth teams.

The players who stand out for me are Samuel Shashoua - good passer with a trick or two to beat a defender, Keenan Bennetts - left winger converted to a full-back with good pace, similar in style to Danny Rose, and Oliver Skipp - a defensively minded central midfielder who is only 16 but holds his own playing against men.

Marcus Edwards is very skilful but in and out of games and he is physically small and you worry whether he is skilful enough not to get bullied by senior players.

But there's a reason why I'm a fan not a coach so I could very well be proved wrong.

I know many of us were disappointed that sancho didn't go through (yet), but watching that clip, Edwards looks much more suited to our current style where we probe for an opening rather than use outright pace.

Now he has signed I'm hopeful he will get some game time.
