Seems strange after the success of Harry Kane
that we haven't managed to produce another capable striker.
Would have been handy at the moment.
How good or far away is Shayan Harrison?
Any one else on the not too distant horizon.

Considering Shayon was just loaned out to a League 2 side, I would venture a guess that he is not quite ready nor is he very close to being a valid option for the first team.

Apologies if this has been posted before - it's from December but I've only just seen it.

Nice little video about Nathan Oduwa, why he does his tricks etc.

Walkes to an MLS side on loan

I'd guess Atlanta bc of Eales but who knows

From @thfcacademy on twitter: "I’m told Anton Walkes is likely to join an MLS sign on loan. He travelled to the States on Monday for talks."

And looking at his recent twitter likes, Atlanta is a safe bet. He'll get some really good coaching there too under Tata Martino

#thfc told Marcus Edwards back in full training at Hotspur Way and in contention to face Wycombe Wanderers on Saturday.

Would love to see him come on at some point

GAME OFF TONIGHT: Our FA Youth Cup tie vs @NorwichCityFC at @StevenageFC tonight has been postponed due to a frozen pitch. New date TBC.

Thanks for this but saw it too late

If they get the stands put in at hotspur way will they be able to play fa you cup games there ?

I don't think they would, I think the point of FAYC matches is to play them in stadiums. I think that's a rule.

For me he was the outstanding player in a very good youth team - since then he has been terribly unlucky with injuries. i hope he can push on again, I think he has a lot to offer including a very good left foot good in the air and no slouch on the ground

Well said.Very unlucky with injuries, while I think he could do what Poch wants as he can get up and down, I think injuries have kept him out for too long so he probably missed any chance of training with the first team and learning that style. Therefore like Sweech said I don't think he is quite dynamic enough to do it, and they'll look for a more obvious player to fulfill that remit. Abilitywise I think he is Championship at least if he manages to settle and get some good form going. He's been playing well recently which is a start

Walkes to a MLS team? That doesn't make much sense to me.

I think it makes good sense. He isn't good enough for PL, but funnily enough he is closer to the first team than Ward ever was. I think if he goes there, he will be one of their better players and it could give him a great confidence boost. He then either comes back more ready, though I think it would be more to sell on and make money, or stays there permanently. Probably one of the best places to make a career. I loved America when I was there.

When was the last time we produced a decent striker before Kane? We're probably not due one for another twenty years.

I'm a little surprised. It's not like there's a plethora of quality LB's out there, and the few times I saw Ogilvie he seemed decent going in both directions. Maybe the injuries took their toll and the lad has struggled for consistency since ?

If we've got other options coming through, fair enough (I'm not overly familiar with them) or maybe we've got out eye on bringing someone in like Sessignon ?? (isn't he a LB ?).

But it's not like Davies is exactly Marcelo is it.

Another window where we weaken ourselves whilst all around us strengthen. Levy out!

Frustrating that you can have a guy as talented as him and yet there doesn't seem to be a path into the team or a real belief he will come through.

Brown was not willing to reveal the player’s identity.

But the midfielder is understood to have represented England at junior level and is still waiting to make a senior first team appearance.

Anyone know who the player in question is? I'd guess Luke Amos.

#thfc Hearing development squad midfielder Luke Amos, could be on his way to join Southend United on a six month loan deal.

@BC11 said it depends on Pochettino's approval.

We will play Newcastle away in the Youth Cup Quarter Final, if we get past Norwich.

Chelsea, Man City and Spurs all kept separate in the draw.
