Money isn’t a problem for Ajax. They have loads of it but no other pull factors.

Wrong. They do not have the means to pay the money clubs like Real M., Barca - or even Spurs - can pay. Otherwise they would. When those clubs comes for their best players they can't match their money...

I thought Pogba was his top target, with Eriksen being Perez's favourite because he's cheap. Madrid's interest in Eriksen came before Zidane's return.
I thought they preferred Pogba?
Every report I've seen posted on Reddit since Zidane came in has had both Pogba and Eriksen listed as top priorities, so I don't think it's either/or. I'd love to be wrong but with JJ confirming that we're in for Lo Celso it feels to me like we're lining up a replacement.

I could see us moving toward a three man midfield with a footballing No. 6, a box-to-box player and a playmaking type. But either way we would need that No. 6.

Marcos Llorente and Diawara are definitely available, and Berge seems like an intriguing prospect with those attributes as well.

I personally see Diawara as the best combination of athleticism and passing ability (though he'd admittedly be something of a punt), so I hope the whispers of a swap for Trippier are accurate.
Just throwing it out there, because im sure there are people that are unaware, but Lo Celso is actually an outstanding tackler. Couple that with his good passing and athleticism and it wouldnt surprise me if Poch see's him as that potential No. 6

De Ligt is represented by Mino Raiola. Is it true that Levy, no longer deals with him?

Maybe but I reckon with the money they make from player transfers they could afford maybe 2/3 on similar wages to ours other than Kane.

They simply don't have the sponsor deals the EPL clubs have.
Look at Celtic, f.ex.: in the 2017-18 season they had an average home attendance of 57,562. More than any club in the EPL, and one of the highest attendances in all of Europe. Yet they can't compete financially with any of the EPL clubs. Yes, they don't have the assembly band of youth products like Ajax but even with such an high attendance they are not "rich" financially.

In no world are we getting De Ligt. That's City, Barca, Real, or at a push Bayern, Juve or Liverpool.

Getting the likes of Ziyech and Ndombele depends on where others are prioritising. If those mentioned above show a lot of interest, we might well struggle. If we're more rapid, forthcoming and persuasive, then they're possibilities IMO, but not much more than that.

Think Liverpool are hovering too

They spent a lot of money last summer thanks to the Coutinho and a few other sales, not sure they will spend as much this summer, especially in defence, but could be wrong. It does sound as though City are losing Kompany this summer and looking at De Ligt, he looks like the perfect replacement. That's if Barca don't look to take him along with his mate De Jong.

Maybe but they're a bit like us, they wouldn't break their wage structure otherwise it would cause a domino affect - highest paid player is Tadic who is on around £60k a week.
