Those who know a bit more about Lo Celso, would you say he could be in addition to Grealish or instead of as he seems fairly similar

Personally speaking, we could do with both.

Lo Celso can do both jobs, but I'd prefer we signed both especially if we are losing Eriksen but even without that both would be good for the squad.

Lo Celso is capable in the middle of the park or as an AM, pretty much the same as Grealish.

My only issue would be were does Winks fit in then? I'd only sign one of Lo Celso and Grealish if signing both stopped Winks from starting. Without his injuries, he is extremely important to the way we play and is Sissoko's best partner.

Anyone saying they wouldnt take Bale back is absolutely outside of their minds. He’s the exact kind of player we desperately need. He’s a winner and can change a game in an instant. We dont have that in this team.

If you consider the overall package of wages, agent fees, injury record and the effect his wages could have on the rest of the squad it isn't the 'no brainer' you make it out to be. We could have 3 players above our current wage cap and still come up short of what he's earning. In the real world those things matter.

He's finished mate. A few flashes of brilliance now and then but just won't cut it back in the PL. Going to Utd is perfect for him and us because it will be Sanchez pt 2

I didn't know anything about Lo Celso until about 45 minutes ago and now I can't live without him at Spurs.

Just popping in here once more to spread my propaganda for Diawara. Absolute baller and on his day already world class. Much like RLC and CHO criminally underused by Sarri at Napoli when he was there.

Just to throw my 2 cents into the Bale discussion, I don't think the majority are against Bale personally.

It's the finances that will be the biggest hurdle, and if it means missing out on younger targets or increases for our current players who have earned it then I'd rather not have him.

Ability wise we'd be silly to pass on a player like Bale. Even with his injury issues, when he is fit and firing he is incredible and we all know that he is. He has won it all with Madrid, that winning experience is invaluable.

Think he'd be an absolutely brilliant addition and would be available cheaply to boot. We've scouted him for years so if we're in for him it'll be because Poch sees a role for him and not just because Levy's good business senses are twitching.

Where have you read/heard we have scouted him for years?

At this stage, if Napoli offered a one-legged man, a couple of out of date Tracker bars, and a signed photo of Richard Madeley for Trippier I'd bite their hand off.

Lo Celso would be a very shrewd piece of business if as expected Eriksen does leave. I also hope the Diawara for Tripe rumours are true. Do these two deals and have zero net spend, strengthened central midfield and our full budget left to strengthen elsewhere.

Adding another striker is essential given our decline in goals this season... with Alli having a stinker we can no longer rely on just Kane and Son as our 2 goal getters.

My heart can't take this deal not going through.
