Should we, though? Lucas is more productive in terms of goals and assists. We need to focus resources on the areas of most pressing need: CM, RB.

A attacking force of Kane, Son, Lucas & Zaha with Dele & (hopefully) Eriksen supplying them would be a top line up.

You can’t fit all those guys on the field consistently. Waste of funds IMO. Also too old for me at this point to add to the squad.

Sure if money is no concern, why not? But living in the the real world we’ve got to be clever with our resources. For what he produces in terms of goals and assists, he’s not worth the money it would take. And I think he’s a cracking player, just not one a well-run club like ours should be buying this summer.

For the right price I’m all for getting zaha, however what palace will want won’t be the right price

Thought he was going to be 28 next season so nvm on that. But does scare me that Son, Eriksen, Lucas and a hypothetical Zaha would all need to be replaced around the same time as they’re all about the same age.

Attack hasn’t been an issue this season, just had a ridiculous amount of injuries.

He's averaged 6 goals and 4 assists in each of the last 5 league campaigns.

That is truly awful for a 26 year old with a 60m+ price tag.

I’d be happy with keeping Eriksen and replacing Lamela with someone not injury prone. I don’t think we require major surgery in attack. I also think Lucas will kick on again next year.

Realistically we’re going to lose Eriksen and will have to replace Lamela, so need at least 2 signings.

Brooks and Dan James for me, and some game time for the likes of Parrott. Also, sign Grealish who can play AM as well as CM and we’d be set.

We’ve got two of the best goalscorers in the league. With a more solid platform, Dele could get in the box more, and Lucas can only get better with more games.

Most of our problems this year are because of the midfield platform and the wide areas.
