I truly believe that with the progression in the CL this year plus three straight windows of no spending, there should be no reason100 mill or so to not spend plus whatever we get from sales.

With that 100 mill, I think getting NDombele for 70 mil and Berge for 20-25 mill is priority #1. I think Poch deserves that.

If Eriksen still goes and nets 50-60 mill is sales, replace him with Grealish for 35 mill.

If Toby goes, not sure if he would be replaced or not. I still think moving Dier back there is the best move as he is not a great MF.

With whatever you can get from selling off players like Wanyama, NKoudou, Aurier, etc, try to get a young English wing attacker like the kid from Leeds for 35-40 mill.

If a surprise player or two is sold (my guess would be Lamela) use that to get Bissaka for hopefully 40 mill.
Berge & Ndombele is the dream for midfield and AWB for RB. If we don't lose Toby or Eriksen that team legitimately competes for the title.

Think we'll see a fair bit of player trading in the summer. I imagine a swap with CCV for Dan James at Swansea. I could also see us swapping Onomah and some cash for Sessegnon at Fulham. Given how well Edwards has done on his loan, I'd love for him to sign an extension to his contract in the summer and get a loan to Fulham where he'd probably get a good amount of games as Scott Parker and Matt Wells are at the helm.

I'd bet on Man United personally.
Sure Ian Wright knows him and is a fan/mentor of his. I have a sneaking suspicion Wright is a fan of Poch (and maybe even Spurs :cautious::censored:) also. He would recommend somewhere where he would get the best career progression - even if it’s at Spurs!

We don’t have a chance with AWB imo.

Man Utd bought one of Europe's most talented, sought after RBs from Porto last season in the shape of Dalot. I'd be slightly surprised if they bought a 20 year old to go in ahead of him.

Not impossible, for sure, but if we're in the Champs League and they're not, with the draw of Poch (depending on what type of person AWB is) and the risk of fighting a slot out with Dalot, I don't think it's a certainty that he goes there over us frankly

There are many players that I think we don't have a chance with. I think we have a fighting chance with AWB

Do you reckon we have a chance of getting Wan-Bissaka?

Speaking to a City fan after the first leg and he was saying that their defence has completely collapsed - LaPorte has been dire since his return from injury; Mendy is inconsistent as he is "always on the lash"; Kompany is finished; and Walker is a mistake waiting to happen.

He reckons that City will be spending big on HG defenders like AWB and Chilwell.

I'm hoping that playing at NWHL might open a few eyes for Ajax players. The prospect of having a home ground and an atmosphere like that won't do us any harm at all if we fancy any of them. Same goes for just about every player across Europe who will most likely be watching.

Do people still think we should sell Sissoko? I am shocked that even in recent weeks people's wish lists include selling him as "he's getting on a bit"/"will only depreciate in value from here" etc.

He is one of the top 3 performer's this season, and you do not willingly sell your best players.

If we got offered £50m for a 29/30 yr old player that’s had one good season for us then yeah. If we’re offered 20/30 m then no keep him.

I'll get killed for this but if we could get our money back for him (30mil) and we brought in 2 legitimate CMs (Dembele replacement & Wanyama replacement) I think we should sell. He'll be 30 next season and players that rely heavily on athleticism just don't have a long shelf life.

Van De Beek's very good but for me I would much rather Grealish....without getting laughed out of town I don't see anything that special with De Jong that our own Harry Winks can't do.

The biggest issue some have is neither have De in their name or they didn’t come through the fabled Dutch youth systems.

People forget that right now England ( and France ) are producing the best youngsters on the continent right now!

France #1
England #2

England at least as good at youth level but french players get playing time at Ligue 1 clubs proud of bringing through young players. So the talent gets converted into word class youngsters and prestigious finals.
