Not that we’d get these players but this is the level of ‘realistic’ upgrades I think we are away from being about to seriously challenge for the PL and CL:

Lloris/Gazzaniga

Pavard/Aurier
Sanchez/Foyth
Jan/De Ligt
Robertson/Rose

Dombele/Dier
Winks/Sissoko

Son/Lamela
Dele/Brooks
Bale/Lucas

Kane/Llorente/Arp

2-3 top top class players and we are there but if Toby and erisken go we need more like 2-3 top class AND 2 very decent cover/squad players
We have zero chance of him!!!! Change fbs to Atal/WB and Chilwell/Lewis that's more realistic. Bale is a pipe dream for us all also :hungry:

Our big, glaring weakness is still our midfield. Whenever we are pressed hard we run out of options as our midfielders are limited passers. The only one in midfield with proper passing range is Eriksen and thus when he's out of the game, so are we.
A strong player with decent vision and a great passing range is probably the missing piece that would take us to the next level.

Do it. Just say it: Jonjo Shelvey

Can't believe how many like the idea of Arp. There's next to no video information on the lad - all we really know is that he likes Harry Kane.

Regardless of what happens with Eriksen, praying he stays, we should be looking at Brooks big time.

That lad is special and will definitely be an England regular in time.

He's got that touch of magic and is more dynamic than a lot of other attacking midfielders, gets across the ground quicker than most as well.

If Eriksen does go, this lad is a complete no brainer.

He'll be worth 70 million this time next year. We'll do very well to get him for 40 this summer.
That would be interesting given that he is a Welsh international ?

But I agree he is special, more Dele than Eriksen

Personally and with our need for home grown players in mind so as to not target all foreign players & respecting that we have got £200m to spend, I’d look for:

GK - sell Vorm and promote a youngster.

RB - Wan Bissaka (sell Aurier and trippier and promote Kwp).

CM- Rabiot - if we could get him for a free transfer, then he’s the right age and talent for us.

If wanyama is not going recover from his injuries, then Declan Rice (West Ham highly unlikely to sell) should be a target, if not work on developing Onomah and Skipp.

AM - Brooks - just a huge talent and one we should have pushed for last summer.

Winger - Sancho - would be a big purchase along with brooks but both are very talented and help us in the short term and long term.

Sell Moura, gnk, janssen, Lamela to raise funds.

Give eriksen new £150k-£175k a week deal, Toby a new £130k a week deal, etc to keep them.

SC - let Llorente leave and get Giroud for free transfer. (He is settled in London, is very underrated and is probably the closest Kane replacement).

A lot of buzz surrounding another RB Leipzig player, this time the young US midfielder, Tyler Adams. Didn’t catch his debut a few weeks back, but reportedly he was outstanding playing as a holding midfielder vs Fortuna Düsseldorf.

- Pavard has agreed to join Bayern in the summer.
- Why would Liverpool sell us Robertson?
- Dombele will cost £50/60m+, and will probably join City.
- De Ligt, see Dombele.
- Bale is almost 30, is very injury prone, and will cost a fortune in fee and wages.
- Arp, like Pavard, has agreed to join Bayern.

I’d love us to sign Brooks should Eriksen leave. Will probably cost £40/45m, but he’s a realistic target.

Don't want Rabiot anywhere near this squad, no questions a talented player, but he seems like the midfield equivalent of ibrahimovic. And I like this squad's zero dickheads policy.

Delaney playing against us last night reminded me of the derision the link to him was met with in the Transfer Rumours forum last summer. There was a similar response to Lobotka, now allegedly coveted by PSG. If we sign a CM, I think it's most likely to be someone who the SC massive is largely unimpressed by initially.

if PSG are going for Lobotka, I really hope we go for Doucoure. I think he could be Tottenham's version of Veira

Adams is great but he’s not ready for Spurs yet. Also he only officially moved to Germany in January. Can’t see RBL flipping a player they only brought in 6 months ago. But a year or two from now I think he will get a big move. He’s been playing in the MLS since he was 16. He’s already got 3 starts for RBL and has looked like he belonged. Him and McKinnie are going to be the midfield for the US for the next 10 years.

The Welsh kid Brooks at Bournemouth is who we should get, he is a fantastic imo. Grealish at Villa also is another gem waiting for Pochettinho.

We should do everything to keep Eriksen and Alderweireld but I do see one if not both going , out of the two players Alderweireld position is already covered within the squad.

Upgrade both right and left wingback.

Sell Trippier Wanyama GKN Janssen

If you are just listing ridiculously unrealistic and unattainable players why not go for Messi?

Does anyone happen to know anything about this lad 'Suso' we've been linked with over the last few days?

Wasn't really sure where else I should ask

Agree with most on here that Brooks looks the real deal but from what I've seen he's not an Eriksen type of player... Not that it should stop us going for him...

Well his stats are pretty good (for the Italian league anyway) and he has a 35m release clause apparently, maybe he is our budget Zaha?

I’ve only seen him a couple of times, but I was impressed with his ability to ride out a tackle, he didn’t seem afraid to be physical on the ball. Hopefully there’s a Milan supporter here somewhere who can give some more insight.

I know when he was younger he played for Liverpool in the Prem but was average at best. Maybe his age/build.

He seems to shine in Italy however, previously producing with Genoa, and currently ripping it up with AC Milan.

Maybe he could now handle the rigours of the English game in the Premier league now he's a bit older and experienced.
