Would love bale back despite the injury concerns. I certainly think he would be much fitter and less injury prone in our hands.
Just the thought of having bale, alli, son and kane walk out on the same side is a very mouth watering prospect. I didnt include eriksen because im fairly sure he is leaving this summer.
I agree with what somebody said about sancho. His interview screamed out 'cone and get me' to english sides. Im certain he would love to team up with us poch and the english lads as it would be a very clever move with poch's ability to improve and develop players. New stadium and training facilities would also be something an 18yo would be excited to be involved with.

Somebody did meantion that bale has been shown a few places in Hampstead recently. Perhaps the plan was always for him to later return one we are able to compete better financially and the stadium done. He was simply tooo good for us at the time but he did love spurs.

How much would each cost? Bale 60m? Sancho roughly the same?
Was there some hoo-ha recently about us having first refusal on Bale if Real wanted to sell him, or am I imagining that?

Can see us going in big time for Jaden
One thing that might attract him to us (and I admit, it's a marginal consideration) is that he's a London boy. Although, that said, he did spend six years at Man City, so he might think of that as home. Who knows?

despite us needing help at both of our FB positions and some reinforcement in centermidfield, I would be over the moon if we went all out and brought Sancho in. The boy is going to be a leading talent of his generation.

So Sancho, Brooks (pretty good, would love these two actually)

A world class CM (these three would be an insane Summer)

Two fullbacks that can defend, get forward, cross.

And we’re set

:)

Dortmund just sold Pulisic for £57m and no doubt see Sancho ahead of him. 2 years ago they sold Dembele for £130m. Net result is that if they were willing to sell it would take at least £60m. If anyone think that Daniel Levy is paying that for a player purchased for £10m 18 months ago then I’d like some of what they are smoking.

There is a way better value out there than Sancho.

Our big, glaring weakness is still our midfield. Whenever we are pressed hard we run out of options as our midfielders are limited passers. The only one in midfield with proper passing range is Eriksen and thus when he's out of the game, so are we.
A strong player with decent vision and a great passing range is probably the missing piece that would take us to the next level.

I think the great thing about how poch is developing is that there are so many ‘versions’ of spurs that even if the worst happens and erisken goes in summer he will tweak how we play to suit the players he has. We used to be 4-2-3-1 only with 3-4-2-1 as back-up but now we also can play 4-4-2 diamond and 5-3-2 and a 4-3-3 variant.

So if Toby and Eriksen leave + perhaps Jansen, N’Koudu and Vorm then we should have a decent pot to spend and a few squad spaces to fill, for me we’d need:
1. CM/CAM or AM * if Eriksen goes
2. CM
3. additional AM
4. RB
Other:
5.Back up striker if Llorente goes
6. If we don’t move Dier back to CB then we’d need a CB.

Realistically I’d suggest the below especially as we need homegrown players

1. Grealish/Brooks
2. Dombele
3. Zaha or Bale
4. Tierney
5. Arp
6. Lascelles

I'd like to see us move to 4-3-3 and bring in:

Berge for DM/CM.
a LB (no idea who).
either Pepe, Bale, James Rodriguez, Malcom or Sancho for RW.
a RB (no idea who, but it is a view to see both Trippier and Aurier with KWP as back up, so not sure Wan-Bissaka would be a good idea, as our RB's would have 1 season of experience between them.

Convince Toby & Eriksen to sign new contracts

Let the below go:
Llorente - Out of contract
Vorm - Out of contract
GKN
Janssen
Wanyama
Aurier
Trippier
Davies

I like the list of get rids except I’d keep Davies as he’s really solid and I’d keep Aurier.

Also can’t see us switching to 4-3-3 personally and I hope we don’t just copy lpool / city, it’s good that the way we play is different and more unique

Not that we’d get these players but this is the level of ‘realistic’ upgrades I think we are away from being about to seriously challenge for the PL and CL:

Lloris/Gazzaniga

Pavard/Aurier
Sanchez/Foyth
Jan/De Ligt
Robertson/Rose

Dombele/Dier
Winks/Sissoko

Son/Lamela
Dele/Brooks
Bale/Lucas

Kane/Llorente/Arp

2-3 top top class players and we are there but if Toby and erisken go we need more like 2-3 top class AND 2 very decent cover/squad players

I honestly don’t ?
He is being offered to few top level clubs. Accepting his injury record, and with no fee and decent wage, I think it would be a good shout, as he would spend a lot of time on the bench. But top level threat and quality to come off the bench. Or play the off game to rest H

People on here get suicidal because Eriksen doesn't get stuck in. He's like fucking Rambo compared to Sturridge.

Regardless of what happens with Eriksen, praying he stays, we should be looking at Brooks big time.

That lad is special and will definitely be an England regular in time.

He's got that touch of magic and is more dynamic than a lot of other attacking midfielders, gets across the ground quicker than most as well.

If Eriksen does go, this lad is a complete no brainer.

He'll be worth 70 million this time next year. We'll do very well to get him for 40 this summer.
