Aarons doesn't want to come back here. He wants to go to either the Gooners or West Ham. Who knows if that would change if an acceptable bid was made and we were talking but that was his initial response off the bat.
I quit reading after 'West Ham'... ;)

He's literally never been out with an ankle injury (source: me typing in "Danny Rose" and "ankle" into twitter and finding nothing.

Maybe @danielneeds is getting his major injuries confused. Winks had a really nasty ankle fracture/dislocation which will affect the rest of his career. I'm fairly certain Rose's injury was his knee.

That may well have been it!

As a sidenote, it's is a bit worrying how many of the injuries our players suffer turn into chronic problems - Dembele, Wanyame, Rose, Winks. Medical staff up to the job, or simply fact of life with PL?

Yeah and it means that the injury is ongoing/recurring.

The last time he has that injury was over a year ago, that doesn't suggest to me that it's chronic.
He's had plenty of niggling injuries since. He can't manage two games in a week, we don't know how much he trains.

A bit like Ledley, once you can't train as much, you get other injuries creeping in too.

I really don't have any agenda against him. One of my favourite players, but he's not the same physically as he was before the injury, and to me he looks very much like Dembele a year ago - capable of some top performances, but also struggling through games, and another injury around the corner.

Anyway, we'll see in the summer, but I'd be very surprised if we don't entertain serious offers.

When was he at spurs?

In my opinion it's clear as day that Maddison would not be good enough to replace Eriksen as some of the media outlets are stupidly suggesting. Even before we saw Tielemans display yesterday I was disappointed we didn't acquire him on loan when the chance appeared to be there in the January window. Having seen him yesterday I am now even more convinced that we will live to rue this one as a missed opportunity. Once in our squad and in training with Poch I think it would have tipped the scales even more in favour of us getting him in the long term as I'm convinced he would have loved it being in our squad. I fear now that he may be out of our reach if he performs well for the rest of the season.

See Toby.
