Any circumstance equates to a lot of circumstances ;-)

But I get what you mean.

If the price was right we'd potentially sell Verts; not because we want to, but because he hasn't got long left on his contract iirc.

Personally, I think you could also add Rose to that list. His form has picked up and it's unlikely we'd sell our starting XI home-grown left back.

Probably tough on Rose but I think it's a position where we could definitely do with an upgrade. He gives 100% but does he ever put anything decent into the box? With WBs being so integral to the way we attack I think Grimaldo or Telles would take us up a level, and Davies is fine as a fall back/defensive option.

FFP also dictates that wages can only increase by a certain percentage, so an Eriksen pay rise will decrease that immediately. Bargains from clauses and distressed clubs will likely to continue to be a big part of our strategy. I wouldn't expect to be battling clubs with double our wages bills for players anytime soon.[/QUOTE]

You mean the premier league FFP, right? If so it was said you could only use the tv extra income up to 19 mil per season if using 12/13 accounts as base year. But our turnover has exploded since that was put in place, we could add our wages up by about 200 mil and we would not fall foul of the premier league ffp. I am not saying that is commercially viable by the way.

Apparently PSG are looking to put Draxler on the transfer list.

I think we should be all over that, he’s such a talent that has just stalled over there. Can’t see him being ridiculously expensive too.

Tottenham are ready to break their transfer record to land Roma star Nicolo Zaniolo this summer. The 19-year-old has enjoyed a breakthrough season in Serie A and Spurs have offered £45m for the midfielder. However, Roma may demand double that. (La Repubblica)

Little tid bit to get you all moist for the weekend, Don't know how reliable this paper is though so don't shoot the messenger.

Nah, if he's not good enough for a team that couldn't get past the UCL last 16 he's not good enough for a semi- finalist!!;)

Draxler seems to stall everywhere, there's something odd going on with him.

Would rather Rose as a back up in this scenario, plus he's HG for CL

Slow was the first thing that sprung to mind. His foot work and overall pace and movement just seem really sluggish. Not seen him live though must admit.
I'm incredibly wary of players from the Italian league. They seem to always struggle to adapt to the Premier League.
