Funny how a sniff of momentum changes things. England now have a bit of belief and are scrapping hard and a bit of rugby is now flowing. South Africa look a bit rattled at the moment.

That's a hometown decision, got away with that.

Not sure how he won that. But kept scrapping away, clung on, and South Africa imploded.

England took advantage of a SA off day and a last minute Ref's decision which could have gone either way, but how many times was the boot on the other foot last year? The crucial thing is that heads never dropped.

True. They kept going and I guess you can say that the team who deserved to win was the one ahead at the end of the game.

(Though why the Boks kept throwing long and badly with their noses hanging over the line I have not idea!)

On the train back from Twickenham - that was a tense game. Much improved 2nd half performance, should have got a try, but good experience to win a tight, nervy game.

Considering how bad England were for large periods of that match that’s a good win. Not a great spectacle though.

The boks could have easily been a couple of tries up at half time and we got away with it. Hope curry's injury isn't serious. I thought farrell was definitely going to be carded for that tackle at the end. We scraped through with a lot of luck.

Shields looked really bad (like he has been all season). I never watched him play in NZ but what ever he had over there he has lost completely. Wilson on the other hand looks pretty decent and should play at 6 when we get billy/hughes/robshaw back.

NZ will probably rest a few players for the ireland game and won't let us off the hook like the boks did and comfortably win.

Re the Wales game. Great to see North getting back to his old form. Shame Luke Morgan barely touched the ball on his debut. We were much more clinical and efficient but were still giving the ball away far to cheaply. Fine against your Scotland’s and England’s (lol) but Ireland and NZ will put us away. Though, tbf, we only had 18% of the ball in Dublin last 6N and we still should of won that game but, yeah, need to retain possession better.

Reckon J Davies is the best 13 in the world. Needs a few more internationals to get back to where he was but he’s making good progress from being out so long.

We simply HAVE to beat the Ozzie’s next week. If we don’t I’m giving up. Our record against them is a disgrace. Especially in the last decade when we’ve been decent.

They’re such a weird side. If they click they can beat anyone but they’re all over the place at the moment. They’ll probably turn it on against us as per.

Can't see NZ taking any chances v Ireland myself. They have such strength in depth though that it really makes no difference.

Squire V Shields will be interesting (if Jones persists with Shields that is)
