I’m not changing it though.. personally think they are pretty weak an injury to Tarkowski doesn’t leave them with much...

newcastle and cardiff dead set to go down, with it being a scrap between huddersfield and fulham. atm i chose fulham bc there back 4 are amateurish. Ream and Chambers must be the 2 worse defenders in the division.

I voted for Newcastle, Cardiff and Huddersfield.

Ashley's ownership seems to be really hurting Newcastle. If he doen't invest money in January they'll be gone.

Huddersfield did brilliantly to stay up last season, but they've lost some of the confidence they gained in the promotion season now and just don't look like scoring enough goals.

Cardiff seem resigned to going back down.

Right now I'd pick three from Fulham, Newcastle, Huddersfield and Cardiff. Fulham most likely to stay up because they have better players but they really need to sort their defence out.

The latter three all look pretty hopeless, despite Cardiff's win yesterday.

Tough to call so early, but the present bottom four looks about right so far.

Cardiff and Huddersfield look the most limited to me, and so it will continue to be a struggle. However they do have a bit of fight in them.

Newcastle aren't so bad to be bottom of the league and can get out of it, but just seem caught in a miserable saga and might have a season like Villa a couple of years back where everyone just gave up really early on.

Fulham have talent in attack, but cant continue to be so naïve and open defensively otherwise they will be right down there.

I think Fulham have enough there to sort themselves out, scoring goals isn't going to be their issue. Whether they have to sack Jovanovic and bring in someone who can sort their defence out or spend a bit in January to fix it I think they should survive.

If you can't score goals then you will always struggle - Huddersfield and Newcastle aren't lacking in effort but they are severely lacking in goals and quality in the final third. Huddersfield relied on their strong start and play-off momentum to keep them going last season but I think without it they are pretty much doomed - 4 goals in 9 games is a recipe for relegation and Newcastle aren't much better. Therefore I think those two are doomed. Cardiff had a bit of a surprise result yesterday but I still don't think they will stay up.

Newcastle aren't as bad as people think, they faced all of the top 7 iirc
Their record against teams outside the top is 0-0 v Cardiff, 0-0 v Palace, 0-2 v Leicester and 0-1 v Brighton, the last two of those at home.

I'd be very worried if I was a Geordie.

True , interested to see how they do once they get a run of winnable games.

I think they’re in trouble.

They've got southampton, Watford, Bournemouth and Burnley coming up. They really need to win at least two of those games.
