Not ITK, but been with a friend of my who is senior within Hewlett Packard and he says they are new stadium sponsors but any announcement is being held off until right before the stadium opens due to the issues and bad press we all know about.

The HP actually sounds good. “At the HP” has a nice flow to it. Not the lane but i’ll take it. Also, no red!

Is there any possibility that we haven't secured naming rights because the club would be easier to sell without them?

A prospective buyer may want to do their own deals in this area, rather than be stuck with the deals of previous owners.

Also, don't some owners who want to pump money into a club, use sponsorship deals as a way to circumvent financial fair play (Man City, etc)?

Don't know much about this, so just putting it out there...

Possible. Think they'd be happy to get a good naming rights to wipe out most of the short term debt or use it to help refinance the loans.

Just think it's difficult to get a good deal.

Don't know much about this, so just putting it out there...
The asset value has to be higher with a sponsor in place, otherwise any buyer would be looking for a discount as one might not be found at an acceptable level.
