Ranieri has left Nantes. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him back in the premier league once he merry go round gets into full swing.

The BBC are saying that Darren Moore is going to get the West Brom job. It looked like they were going to get someone more experienced, but apparently they've seen sense.

There's an argument all these recent sackings were a mistake. Moyes, Allardyce, Carvalhal, Lambert - you could make a solid case for all of them staying where they were.

How many managers from the clubs that started the PL 2017/2018 season have now been sacked ? At a rough quess I would estimate more have been sacked than the 20 clubs that started the season. Some clubs have worked their way through 3 managers. Time the Chairmen/Directors were held to account no ?

Frank de Boer in talks with Swansea.

I actually think that might work, at least in terms of reclaiming a bit of the Swansea identity. The Championship isn't the hard physical league it used to be, Millwall excepted.

Another one getting a reward for his failures elsewhere. Why do Chairmen and Boards keep employing these failures ?

You can put de Boer's failures at Palace and Inter largely down to both a) little time and b) squads totally unsuited to the way he wants to play. I can see why owners wouldn't really consider those two jobs and look at his work with Ajax instead, which was alright but not stellar.

This is no doubt a desperate attempt to reclaim the Swansea way though, and if de Boer should fail there too I think he'll have to go back to Holland.

Im torn on this. On one hand, your right they didnt give him time or his kind of players but one the other, he was an abject failure at both a big club and a small club outside of holland. Either way, i dont really like it for Swans. I want to see them come straight back up. Doubt de Boer would do that.

He was one of 4 managers for Inter that season, so I dont understand how he gets labelled a failure

As for Crystal palace, he got hired to change a culture according to their board and then sacked for changing the culture too much

I laugh when people say label him a failure because of the inter job as clearly people didnt actually check what happened there
