he manages to get a paragraph on Liverpool into his West Ham v Tottenham prediction this week, although that is probably a website edit fault it's still funny.

West Ham v Tottenham

Tottenham got the job done in their last game against Cardiff without being too easy on the eye, which has been the story of their season so far.

Spurs have not been looking that impressive, but that does not matter as long as you keep getting results.

I keep getting stopped in the street and asked "what is wrong with Liverpool's front three?" but I just go "played eight, won six, drawn two - yeah, they've got massive problems".

This will be a tough game for Tottenham, though. West Ham's revival was ended in their defeat by Brighton, but we know now what they are capable of and I think they are solid enough to hold Spurs.

The key to that happening is for the Hammers to hold up Harry Kane. He was excellent for England against Spain, so it is West Ham's turn to deal with him now.

Lawro's prediction: 1-1

that is so weird - it's not even a segue, or half-way relevant.

Lawro could be discussing the melting of arctic ice and he'd still be able to drag Liverpool into it.

Saying that, I don't have an issue with his prediction. Not going to be easy against West Ham.

I agree, it's a fair prediction; they always turn up against us.

He looks an even bigger **** without his tasche. I think Liverpool have been top 2 in the majority of his predicted league tables.

Another reason to dislike the Scousers.

Lawro has Liverpool to beat Chelsea 2-0 (and to continue their epic run of predicted games unbeaten).

The cad is back, though thankfully not the ‘tache:

Tottenham v Aston Villa (17:30 BST)
Aston Villa's summer transfer signings have made a lot of sense, and they have also got good momentum after the way they came up from the Championship - although I cannot see it helping them too much on Saturday.
I think Spurs will be far too strong for them, but Villa still have the best chance of staying up of any of the promoted teams.

Lawro's prediction: 2-0

Helen's prediction: 1-0

Jo's prediction: Easy! 5-0. Spurs have just had one of their best seasons for a long time, and I am backing them to be up there again this year

FYI “jo” is apparently Jo Harten. An England netball player and spurs fan.

Obviously a top lass then ?

I predict that Lawro will predict Liverpool and City to go unbeaten and both breach the 100 point mark again.

Last season he predicted City to get 106 points.
