I don’t know if he’s lost a bit off his pace or that him not playing much football in the last 3 seasons caught up to him in the second half but he used to be fast.

I remember around a year ago when Dele Alli was Live on twitch with KWP and they was talking about how KWP was beating every player in training on a race, can’t remember how many metres

For me the problem is that Poch rotates fullbacks every game, playing and them on the bench and then playing and then back on the bench stops the fullback building momentum

I don’t want to sound like an Arsenal fan complaining about the ref but wow I didn’t even realise, Lloris Vertonghen or Kane should’ve told the ref

But this was just not the game to start him in when Aurier was available. It was an absolutely crucial game in top 4 fight against a team fighting for their lives away from home. Just a completely unnecessary call.

Pretty much applies to the weekly/constant changes to the back line too mate. It's bloody ridiculous.

Look I don’t want to be harsh on him. But this was just not the game to start him in when Aurier was available. It was an absolutely crucial game in top 4 fight against a team fighting for their lives away from home. Just a completely unnecessary call.

I agree with you but half of Spurs Community would have him in every week over Aurier and Trippier. Full back in the premier league is a tough gig, and in my view needs consistent selection and not chop and changing. Chose one of KWP, Tripps or Aurier and stick with them.

I'd like us to buy the Palace guy to be honest. He would be great in this team.

That shit happens & we can't complain about it. No different to the Rose throw-in the other week when we scored. No complaints then, we're there?

What would people prefer, free-kick in the wrong place, or red card & 10 men? Because that's what really should've happened.

We're in the position (slump) we're in because of our own shortcomings. Blaming others, or looking for excuses is exactly the reason why we have such a fragile (weak as fuck) mentality.

Get our own yard in order before we start looking to blame everyone else.

I knew this would happen :ROFLMAO:. Trippier has a bad game, everyone calls for KWP. Aurier has a bad game, everyone calls for KWP. KWP finally starts and has a bad game and.......

Must win game and KWP gets thrown in, that’s bad enough but thrown in alongside Sanchez who frankly is going thru a bad spell. Hard to fathom, thought Aurier had been doing a decent job.

Agree it’s time the lame arse excuses were put to the side. It was criminal to expect the core group to carry our hopes after effectively 4 weeks off in 2 years of full time elite level football. Our poster boy has two major ankle injuries and no proper back up except for an octogenarian in football terms occupying the bench for 95% of matches. A central midfield that has gone to shit. Full backs who aren’t up to it. CB’s whose contracts are run down. The list goes on. Poch has done well but you can see his frustration. The blow up with Dean was out of character. The fucking stadium fiasco. More turd. It’s been a shit sandwich of a year to be honest. Zero net spend is lauded as some kind of fricken holy grail. The team as a group regresses as our competitors upgrade. It’s all going to shite. I am frustrated because we did brilliantly to get back to top four except for the penny pinching. We are so close to putting the club on a level footing football wise with the giants. For fucks sake you can taste it. Where to now. Who the fuck knows?

Thanks Levy.

How about giving him a run of ten or so games before writing him off ?

I think this is the challenge. If he gets 10 straight games there's a good chance we'll miss out on CL. Can we afford to do that? Does the benefit outweigh the loss?

To be fair, he’s not much worse off that the other two senior RBs in the squad given his age, time playing in competitive matches with the first team and his overall experience.

All our current RBs are not good enough to be first choice. We need a better RB in the team and I hope we manage to get one or two improvements in the summer to replace one or more of the current RBs in the squad.

KWP had a shit second half, and will struggle to ever cut it in this team imo.
But lets get it right, Danny Roses idiotic dummy, and total lack of awareness yesterday, was as criminal for an experienced player, as KWP was shit. Yet Rose doesn't seem to be getting anywhere near the same crap.

Rose mistake was worse, it was a mistake that came from arrogance as well to think you have the time to dummy it in your box without looking. I think Rose rarely makes a mistake like this though which is why people aren't as critical towards him but KWP has had 4 appearances with 3 mistakes this season so it looks significantly worse. I think he needs a loan of 40 games before I give up on KWP completely but I don't see at the moment how he can ever be our long term solution at RB.

So how do youngsters get blooded ? We have to take the risk or close down the Academy.
