So, you agree or don't agree about him playing in the crucial final games of the season?

Trippier has not be anything great at RB. Even if KWP doesn’t do well, it wouldn’t be a big drop in quality. If he does well (he has had good games in the past), then I’ll keep giving him starts over trippier and Aurier.

So, my answer is ‘yes’ to giving him starts in some of those remaining games (maybe not against Liverpool or city). He is younger and has a higher ceiling that the other two RBs.

KWP has impressed at times when played and also made some naive mistakes which is to be expected bearing in mind how little game time he has had. Trippier has had his worst season in a Spurs shirt and it must be somewhat demoralizing for KWP that he has not had more chances. I would love to see him play more towards the end of the season as its the only way we will know if he truly is a viable option for next season.

So you'd give him a run now, with 8 points separating us, Arsenal, United and Chelsea, 8 games left and us still having to go to Anfield and the Etihad, yeah?

Go away, I have no interest in discussing Trippier with you, which is why I don’t bother in Trippier thread anymore.

This is about KWP and the fact you think he should be thrown in to the crucial last 8 games after today's match, which I think is absolutely fucking mental btw.

Poch and his staff watch KWP every day, if he's not showing more than Trippier and Aurier he won't get in the side. It would suggest that he's really not very good which is disappointing.

Still a little lightweight. Next season obviously massive for him

Expect him to be our No1 next season otherwise I agree 100%. Hopefully he’s one of those that physically develops late and Poch gives him his chance

Agree wit h this. He’s not physically at the right level yet.To the extent that he has and will get targeted. Not a reason to sell him on we just need to be patient and wait for him to develop.

It’s amazing how someone that can’t get a game is consistently suggested as the answer to our right back issues.

Poch clearly doesn’t rate/trust KWP.

It’s utter fantasy for people to say he’d be no worse than Trippier or Aurier, because if that were the case he’d be getting games. Pochettino picking the two experienced players ahead of him isn’t a one off aberration, KWP doesn’t get a look in unless there’s injuries. That must be for a reason.

Did we not see that stupid hand ball he done as soon as he was given a chance?

I think he’s talented but I think he’s prone to panic

But that wasn't as soon as he had been given a chance though was it as he had plated more matches prior to that.

Have you see how many mistakes our other senior rb's make?

I think we need to contain ourselves a bit better when we harp on about giving KWP a run, more so given that we are at a crucial stage in the season. Let's say we chuck him in and he makes a cock-up of his chance - That is a real thing btw. some in here are acting like he is the next coming RB messiah. All I have seen are glimpses of potential so far.

If he fucks up like both Tripps and Serge have at times this season, then we will shoot him down in flames too. The wingback positions are the most influential part of our set up - it gives us the width (or should do). I personally feel that a lot of the mistakes we are seeing are brought on by teams prepared to pressure and close us down high up the park. They know Lloris is shaky with Kicking, and will always look to distribute shorter which leaves us trying to play the ball out from the back and I just don't think we have the players with the technical ability to play that well in a pressure situation.

If he was good enough he would have been given a chance.... Foyth has been given plenty so age / experience and prior mistakes is nothing to do with it.

Difference is Poch bought Foyth while KWP was in our academy

The truth is a player might look more appealing when he’s at another club than someone who’s already at our academy, you often look at what you don’t got than what you do got

Poch, his coaching staff and the squad train together every day, does anybody really think that Poch is refusing to play a good player?

I'd love KWP to become a regular but its clear he's not earning the right.

It's not that easy, a manager often won't dare to go for the unproven when they got more experienced options that he trust. It's why Ledley King needed injuries to our senior players to get his chance, in todays football with double cover who knows if he would have. KWP is the same age now that Inter Milan gave up on Andrea Pirlo.

Would also like to point out that some of the mistakes KWP has done for us have been while playing left back, it mess up a lot to play on wrong side. Clearly not as talented, but it killed off any chance Kyle Naughton had with us as well.

And this is why we don’t see more of him.

Is he always poor because he doesn’t get enough minutes or is he just not good enough?

Either way... I don’t want to see him again.
