I think we could get over inflated money for trippier. But I’d probably say trippier/kwp is a better combo. I’d also reckon Eyoma can do a job If needed so can Dier. Shifting one of Aurier trippier makes sense.

Getting rid of a hg player is insane at the moment for us.

Ben davies rose kwp tripper aurier is perfect depth. Why fix it if it aint broke, especially when kwp is so young and willing to take the rotational role.

Because we don't need them all as we also have dier and jan that can play rb and lb respectfully. It would free up a squad place and we could use the money to strengthen else where.

He will be even better when he gets used to starting and is more confident in last third. For example he hasn’t taken anyone on yet but has that in his locker. One gripe today - he regularly dropped 5-10 yards deeper than Alderweireld and played them onside. I put this down to a back 4 that had never played together coupled with 2 inexperienced players on the right side of the defence, but something to keep an eye on.

Agreed, we're really gonna need the money. Plenty of players need replacing and it seems Eriksen is off now. We're gonna need 4 first team players minimum and that's even with Skipp potentially stepping up.

If I had to choose it would be Trips, but it's a difficult call between him and Serge.

I personally have heaps of praise for the lad and in the Summer if we need to move a RB we can, aslong as its not him, He is gonna be a hell of a player, Aurier for me can go.

Personally I would still like to upgrade on Davies. Love Rose when on form but I still worry about how Injury probe he is.

He didn't make a tackle in 90 minutes and barely had to defend in the first half especially.

He had one of his best games in a Tottenham shirt, but people are getting a bit carried away with the whole 3 assists thing and MoTM IMO.

The first was as lucky an assist as he'll get with a pretty simple pass to Eriksen before the luckily deflected strike, the second KWP did well pressing, but ultimately got lucky with the mistake from Daniels before he gave it to Sonny with a slightly more intricate pass. The third was a thing of beauty, that volleyed cross was fantastic (we've seen that cross a few times before from KT).

They had a bit more down the right hand side in the 2nd half and positionally I still saw some things I wasn't a fan of, but from watching us, I'd say that's down to our tactics rather than the full backs themselves.

I actually thought Ryan Frazer (who is far from a wonder player) had a bit too much space at times and was able to play some dangerous balls for them. Bournemouth also had Charlie Daniels out his side who had a bit of a mare, so it's not like the opposition was top notch/on their game today.

Personally, I'd probably prefer him ahead of Serge every day of the week tbh, but would still like to see him tested defensively more before I got carried away.

Would I play him in the biggest matches with the situation we're currently in (potentially fighting for the title)? Probably not tbh, but he's getting there.

Will be telling what the rotation is when Aurier returns from his muscle problem.
Another team not on their game again?

The plot thickens...

Did you think Bournemouth were good?
Didn’t see it. It’s irrelevant though as the question is whether we made them look poor or not.
Every time we win I hear the same old tired diatribe that “the opposition we’re poor.” They seem to be poor every time we turn up.

Answer me this, what’s most likely, that EVERY team we’ve beaten has had a poor day on that particular day, or we’ve just been better than them?

I actually know the answer, I’m just interested to see if you do...

Has anyone said bournmouth were poor? Everyone has been saying that we've been fantastic the last two games.

So Paulo, your answer to the question is to dislike it?

Speaks volumes.

Read his post again baz

I get what he's saying just not why he's saying it. Haven't seen anyone say bournmouth were poor. All the pundits etc... have said that we have been fantastic the last two games. The post he quoted was a fair enough question. If you asked were arsenal good today the answer would be they were awful but they got a point. You cannot tell how a game went from the scorline.

The answer was no they played ok. Were better than us before our first goal and lloris played well to keep them out.
