I’ve been shot down for saying he is a lower risk alternative to Serge right now

I stand by that - think the kid is ready, talented and composed in possession and positionally I am sure will make mistakes but doesn’t seem to be a “brain fart” kind of guy

Haha, i was completely the same, he was trying so hard to stay composed and straight faced, but that big grin just appeared. He just realised he scored for the club he loves, my reaction would have been exactly the same and i would have expected all my mates to screen shot it to me and rib me out it for weeks!!! Really happy for him.

When he said in that interview that he’s wanted to score since his first game and that he ‘saw the headlines’ when Dele put him through, it’s basically how a kid feels at any level of football from the age of 3 upwards. The fact he’s not even a striker and feels that way makes me laugh, it shows his youth, his train of thought and his eagerness. Really hope he does well with us.

Aurier offers very little going forward I don't think he would scored the kwp goal, Kwp is one of the best dribblers at spurs he just needs games.

I do understand this but I also watched a lot of Aurier pre-fallout PSG and I also have seen real class in him. My expectation was that he would become demonstrably our #1 and Trippier would eventually fade for KWP to replace next season. However that not materiazling and Trippier continuing to go from great to poor and back again I am not sure what to make our RB situation or future prospects. Could realistically argue we need a complete revamp. Could realistically argue all 3 need more gametime and consistency to perform.
